AFC east

I have to agree with you. For the past 2 years I've felt that the Bills had the best talent in the division. The Pats are good, but they win because of superior coaching (Weiss and Crennel had a lot to do with that).
I am not afraid of the Jets. I think both they and the Pats will drop a notch (or 2) this season.
What is so special about the Jets?
I wouldn't go that far. We had Drew who was the 3rd best qb in the AFCE behind Marsha and Penny. Henry was solid but not better than Martin and RW. Clements stepped up last year but our wr combo wasn't better than Surtain and Madison.

It's all about the coaching. Bellichicl proved that and for the same reason, Mularkey was able to have a winning season in his first year. The difference between him and Bellichick in their first year is that Mularkey didn't change a lot of things. Simplified Gilbrides system and kept the same DC.

Patriots-12-4
Bills-10-6
Jets-9-7
Phins-6-10

The Bills are going to be a better team with Losman than they were with Bledsoe last season. Mike Mularkey is going to put Losman in situations to win and there offense has much more flexibility because of his mobility. I'm a Dolfan but anyone who considers Jp Losman a joke, than what is Aj Feeley? I would take Losman over Feeley and he's thrown like 5 passes. I'm not gonna bet against the Pats till someone knocks them off but the Jets have a new OC and if Pennington shoulder is not completely healed they will struggle early. I don't think 10-6 will make the playoffs in the AFC except perhaps the Afc West division winner so I think the Pats will be the only team from the East to make the playoffs.

I still have to rank the Pats and Jets above the bills. The jets got Coles back who is better than Moss. Curtis isn't done yet until he proves otherwise.

The pats are the Pats. We will find out if Bellichick should get all the credit or were his asst. coaches what made the team.

Although I think we will be better w/ Losman, our Ol is still questionable.

The fins are in rebuilding mode. Whether your core D (JT, Zach,etc) can easily adjust to a new defenssive scheme remains to be seen.

Based on what?

I mean if I said "Feeley is a joke" I'd have pages of stats to back it up. Losman hasn't played yet.

That being said:

Bills 11-5
Pats 10-6
Phins 8-8
Jets 8-8
Touche!!

By saying Bills will win 11 games you're assiming New England, Jets and Dolphins will lose at least one versus your team.

Just look this.

Bills' 2005 Schedule
Date Opponent
Sep 11 Houston
Sep 18 @Tampa Bay
Sep 25 Atlanta
Oct 2 @New Orleans
Oct 9 Miami
Oct 16 N.Y. Jets
Oct 23 @Oakland
Oct 30 @New England
Week 9 BYE
Nov 13 Kansas City
Nov 20 @San Diego
Nov 27 Carolina
Dec 4 @Miami
Dec 11 New England
Dec 17 Denver
Dec 24 @Cincinnati
Jan 1 @N.Y. Jets

Atlanta, Kansas City, New Orleans and San Diego won't be easy thing my friend and if Losman is as lucky as some Pitt QB last season then that 11-5 is short, but if Losman is a normal NFL newbie, this 11-5 record is a dream, 8-8 is a real one my friend.

pats = 12-4

jets = 11-5 (i hate this prediction)

fins = 10-6(what a turn around)

bills = 8-8

best division in the NFL

How in the world can anyone honestly say that odds are were gonna be a wildcard team this year. 7-9 would be a very nice year, but to say were gonna overachieve with the most underachieving team in NFL history is just plain wrong

I'm talking about talent across the board. The Pats are basically a team of role players (Vrabel, Bruschi etc) with a serviceable, but not dominant O-line.
Every team in the AFC east (and NFL) has some holes.
Bellichick is a lot like Shula was in his heyday. He took a team quartebacked by David Woodley to the SB. They had average to below average players at all the skill positions and yet they were efficient.

Underachieving vs overachieving is largely the result of coaching. We would all like to think that the coaching problem has been corrected.

Patriots- 9-7
Dolphins- 8-8
Jets- 8-8
Bills- 6-10

Still way too early to tell, but I figured I'd give it a try.

I think people tend to underrate the talent on the Patriots.

I think they're by far the most talented, complete team in the East, and it's not even that close.

I have yet to hear a really compelling reason as to why they won't at least win the AFC East again.
