yes, AJ got us a TD versus their 3rd stringers.

Yes, Gus sucks, but AJ needs to prove his worth versus first stringers. i'll hope AJ starts next week and save my judgement until then.

yes, that's exactly what i was thinking, aj should start next week

I am disappointed in Gus. I expected him to perform better tonight. He missed three TD passes.:yell:

He failed and A.J. should get a chance to start next week. I smell a QB controversy.

However, it looks like Gus has hit a plateau.

Yeah, a plateau of not being able to complete half his passes in any of his 3 starts with the first team offense.

6 of 14 against Jacksonville
7 of 18 against Pittsburgh
9 of 25 against Tampa Bay

That's a pathetic 22 for 57, playing with the first string offense. He's completing 38.5% of his passes since he became "the starter." I don't want to hear any crap about pocket presence, or how he knows Linehan's system. The bottom line is production. He's had 3 starts, and has proved that he does not belong in the starting lineup. In fact, a 38.5 completion percentage would wind up getting most guys cut altogether. If AJ Feeley does not get the start next week, then there never was a QB competition. The coaching staff knew they were going with Frerotte all along, regardless of how they played.

the ignorant gusketeers wont give aj any credit while still maintaining that gus is the great QB of the future.

better get off that gus bus fools AJ feeley is our starting qb

I'm still on the AJ-mobile. I just hope he gets his chance before the season is near the end. I want to see him improve.

As far as I am concerned there never was a competition it was alwyas gus's job and I think saban is a good defensive coach but I think he needs to involve himself more in the offense then just letting scott decide who the qb is!

*moves luggage* Save my spot, will ya? I need to make a Smirnoff run.

;) Sure, no problem. I've been rooting for AJ the whole time, but I was trying not to care who the QB was and be happy either way, but now I think AJ should start without a doubt.

^^^^!!!!

Gus has hardly impressed, especially for a guy that supposedly knows our complicated offense. Where is that surprise cuts thread? I'm adding Gus's name to it (although it'll never happen).

people want AJ to do well but we have yet to see him do so except for a few good passes(strong arm) People dont like Gus because he is the crazy one who hurt his neck for celebrating after a TD. Gus has talent we seen it last year he put up #'s as good as Culpepper if not better. I want the best man to start that is all that matters to me. In a career Gus has done more. I think if Feeley can get his head out of his you know what he can be good. He is more talented than Jake Delholme all he has got to get is the mental part like Jake. Then we will have a probowler.

aj should be our starting qb he is starting to look good out there standing in the pocket facing the pressure..

At least with AJ, he could be our future and has shown improvement.

With Gus, it is over almost as soon as it starts. Of course, we might be happy for that if Gus does start.
