Aj Feeley Bandwagon Alllll Abbboard!!!

Actually...to be quite honest..Im pretty impressed that we have a total of 2 ints the whole pre season. Thats over four games. Pretty damned good. Look INT's happen in the NFL. Marino threw tons of em.

I realize that, but I have seen enough to know that when AJ makes his first mistake in a real game he will be crucified, just like last season.

Seems like after he has a good game everyone has him riding on their shoulders and then the next week he throws an INT that is returned for a TD and then he's villianized.

Guess it's just human nature for some fin fans.

Here's an idea, how about the receivers catch some of Gus's balls like they should, then he wouldn't look so bad.

As for this game. BOTH teams second/third string defenses were bad. Period.

AJ is a better athlete, but I don't see him with the ability (YET) to comprehend this entire offense to the level that Ferrotte has. You cannot be serious to compare the two QB's accomplishments on this game as it wasn't the same game, same players, etc. However, it does give one the notion that something different was perceived to their level of play on this game.
Gus had a great first drive. You must give that to him. Against their 1st string defense. It was magical. And then faded. AJ...he had drives fade as well. Against 2nd string defense.
As for those saying one QB is better then the other and taking it to heart, I say this. Its just a game. And your choice of QB will soon be a memory of Dolphins players, as all players before them. Let the coaches coach, and the fans cheer.

God bless our Miami Dolphins. They need all the help they can get!

P.S. How about that offensive line this game? A lot different weren't they??

Have you seen muh baseball??

Quit while your ahead....your argument holds no water.
neither does yours..i'm an aj supporter as said in another thread, but when you go against 3 string d-line men and corners, most of the time your wrs will be open, b/c wr is an easier position..morris didnt do much so that argument is void..you people are so fickle its kinda sad

look this 2nd string argument is ridiculous. we saw aj last year as a starter. he went 3 and 3 to end the season. this isnt some rookie like berlin where that argument might hold credence. from what i have seen from aj this preseason (that's only the first two games) and read it's obvious to me aj is a better qb than last year. how much? not sure just yet but he's learned to stop turning the ball over. he looks off his receivers (still has a ways to go but better than last year). he has displayed more touch this preseason (yet again still has a ways to go) and it seems he's starting to get comfortable in the system. he's always had the arm and it finally seems like he's getting the brains. this is the same qb who beat the patriots playing on arguably the worst offense in the league. This is a guy who has shown guts and heart the entire time he's been here and he deserves better than to be ripped constantly. he proved that again this offseason when once again the coaching staff gave the veteran every possible advantage. Unlike last year though AJ learned the playbook and came prepared. This is a very positive development for our team and its time he gets some respect

Lets all be honest!! Please!!!!!!

The best performer has been Brock!

Why are you all over Feeley? B/c we gave a 2nd for him. Huuuuh. I think Brock deserves some more time. AJ needs some poise. I like what I see from him at times, but he makes bad calls to many times. If Gus continues this track, then yes I would rather take the lumps w/ Feeley. I just want one of these guys to show they can do it. I think Feeley needs more confidence. They need a pocket poise drill that allows the qb to work on moving around inside the pocket w/o panicing. Not that I blame AJ to much after the whoopin' he got last year! Poor guy!

I refuse to wagon anything. Just let the best qb win the gig! Then I will wagon. How is that for an answer.

AJ/Gus/Sage/Brock

AJ should have started this week. Saban has to do damage control with Gus Fiedler.

Saban doesn't have to do jack ****. Seriously people, get a grip!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feeley looked good against reserves tonight and Gus had his problems against the Bucs' 1st team defense. Some of you out there are ready to put Feeley in the HOF for Christ's sake!!!!!

I get really pissed off when I read posts like this. Saban knows what he's doing. I want the best QB we have to start, and quite frankly, neither AJ or Gus are pro bowl material.

Get mad all you want but AJ outplayed Gus tonight, 2nd string on 2nd string, remember AJ's supporting cast was 2nd stringers too.

This is what we call "excuses". Had enough of those with Jay. Go with the guy that performs and lets knock off the excuses. A.J. has earned the right to a half with the starters to settle this QB bit once and for all and if he struggles also then so be it.

Simple truth is that Gus has stunk it up 2 games in a row and was mediocre the first game. That doesn't cut it in pee wee football let alone the NFL.

the one thing i like about gus is his willingness to go down the field. hes always looking for the homerun, and hes got a strong arm. the only problem is he is overthrowing everyone here, actually im pretty sure the only person in the nfl at this point he wouldnt be overthrowing would be randy moss himself

I'm going to use my 1000th post in support of AJ Feeley. I think as the offensive line improves AJ will show his true ability. Im not claiming he is a star in the making, but im confident he is the better of the two potential starters on our roster.

Next week is the decider but I think Aj is in the lead right now he should start next week and then its make or break for him.

AJ is starting to show some serious promise. I like the fact that he tends to take the more secure short passes and keeps the drive alive. W/ RW and RB i nthe backfield that isn't a bad thing. He now appears to be delivering the deeper ball (accurately) and there appears some sort of "chemistry" w/ Boston (at least as written by some).

If he can CONTROL the game and NOT turn it over.....he might just be a keeper. I thought he improved every game last year and he appears to be doing the same thing this preseason. He needs to start.

Gus is just NOT the answer.....regardless of Feeley...

that usually goes for both qb's. in fact that goes for all QB's. If there were never drops/fumbles hell all QB's would look good.
