Aj Feeley Bandwagon Alllll Abbboard!!!

This is what we call "excuses". Had enough of those with Jay. Go with the guy that performs and lets knock off the excuses. A.J. has earned the right to a half with the starters to settle this QB bit once and for all and if he struggles also then so be it.

Simple truth is that Gus has stunk it up 2 games in a row and was mediocre the first game. That doesn't cut it in pee wee football let alone the NFL.

Gus played bad last night. But last week he didn't. He had ALOT of dropped passes against Pitt. He looked pretty good against the Steelers and the Steelers defense is WAAAAAAAY better than the Bucs. Gus had A bad game. Not two in a row like some people suggest. If you watch the game last week, you'd see that Gus was hitting the recievers and that weren't bringing it in.

I was already on, but let me confirm it! I'm ON!

Feeley has improved with every game hea has played, including last year.

Although the picks for TD's were frustrating, he had the worst offensive line I have ever seen. The opposing D line men were back in the 5 or 7 step drop area before the QB got there! Even on 3 step drops this would happen, the d line would go right over Mckinney and Whitley.

Give AJ a chance to start a whole year with a decent Oline and see what develops. If he does not cut it, let get another QB in the offseason. Gus is a career back-up we all know that. We are not sure with AJ.

Both QB suck.... as foar as overthrown ball.. I do remember correctly that AJ had quite a few last year. This is a seesaw conversation. As long as you keep putting 1 QB in then the other you will always see one guy out perform the other. Today its AJ.. next week its Gus...

saban made positive mention of both mann and farmer in a recent press confrence. i'd say it's a toss up bro...between them and thompson/gilmore.

I can't honestly understand how AJ haters can't at least give him his props? He's throwing behind our AWESOME OL'S BACKUPS!! If the OL is that bad, imagine their BACKUPS! He gets Minor to run 2 yards for him while Ferotte had the Williams and Brown tandem. AJ doesn't get McMike, he gets Lee to drop a touchdown. He doesn't get get Chambers, he gets Farmer (who!?) who thankfully make a great catch and TD run. Yet and still AJ drives the field and makes plays, throws, etc. One knock, is the short touch passes, AJ needs to be more gentle.

Saban sees this, even said so. What next? Does he start AJ next week? What does Saban do?

I said it last week, we need to drop Booker. He had at least 1 drop and then on ST he fair catches at the 5!? So did Welker, I hope that's corrected. Farmer needs to have the backup to Welker job. A 5' white boy backing up a 5' white boy, classic :)

Both are close to equal with AJ slightly leading now, but Equal should = Feeley getting the chance to see if he can be the teams long term QB or not.Said it 100 times, Feeley is younger, they guy we have invested a 2nd rounder in, lets see if he's got it this year or not and quit playing around with this dueling QB controversy thing, and if he does'nt, go out and find a new guy that can, its that simple.

The first drive Gus had was the best drive anyone playing with 1st teamers has had all pre-season. Everyone talks about Gus over throwing on the deep balls, but CC should have had the one. Also AJ overthrew Mann who was wideopen on the deep ball. AJ would have thrown a pick for six if he was playing 1st teamers on the play where Lee caught the tip ball.
If you also include the drops that hit recievers or the one CC caught that we challenged, which was a PERFECT throw, I really don't think Gus played bad. That first drive was GREAT.
We must keep perspective. Brock looked great in the 4th quarters vs backups playing prevent like what AJ was playing. Saban will watch the tapes and will see things we don't. If he names AJ the starter I for one will support the team and the decision, but don't be surprised if Gus remains the opening day starter.
Either way, whoever is the starting QB I will be a fan. I have never liked AJ and still don't(I will always say we seriously overpaid for AJ), but if he is our starter I will pull for him.

pssss......for the last time Feeley sucks. I'd rather start Berlin than Feeley. Looks like Gus might be our only option. OH WELL!!!!!
