AJ Feeley, The Next Marino

I got a good chuckle from the title of this thread.....do we have a Propesterous Hall of Fame for crazy posts? This deserves it's own place.

Um, we have a great RB, we could easily be number one in rushing, and we have had the # 2 rated D for the last two years. Do you think that might help a QB a little.

And we have the number 1 ST unit in the league last year.
 
Hey, Ive been an AJ supporter from the time we acquired him...and I still think he will be a good QB for the Phins.... but geez dude, the "next Marino"??????

You blame all of Feeley's problems last year on his situation....Wanny, bad system, no O-Line, etc. While those are valid excuses for ANY QB not performing well, they dont explain why Feeley was unable to beat out McNabb or Detmer in Philly. Now, I know all the talk about Detmer being second string because of his holding duties on FGs, but dont you think that if Philly had a Marino clone on the roster he would at least be 2nd string? Or, are you implying that Detmer and McNabb are better than Dan was?

Since it is Friday, and I myself have had a few beers already, Im going to limit my criticism somewhat, but please try to think past the alcohol induced fog before you equate ANYONE to Dan Marino, OK?
 
You have absolutely got to be kidding. Put down the crack pipe and get a grip on reality. AJ will never be a Marino. Dan was a rare talent that only comes along once in a while. AJ may be good, but IMHO he will never be that good. The closest he will ever come to Dan Marino is when he is standing next to his statue.
 
Being a huge Marino fan myself....I actually had tears come to my eye at the thought I anyone even remotely considering this. You should be ashamed to have even said those two names in the same sentence when you are talking about the game of football.
 
If you're waiting for a QB to be the "next" Dan Marino, you're gonna be waiting a long time.
 
AJ can never be another Marino. Needs to be successful early on in the career.

Feeley will never be starting material in the NFL, let alone the next Marino. Face it, Feeley is not the answer for you at QB, but you should be able to pick one up next year when you have a top 5 pick

its not just us losman, pretty much most people would say marino was the greatiest !! but i have to agree with you with feelley he couldnt scatch dans ***!!!!
 
but the comparison to losman is right on ,niether one has proved anything !!!!!


but the bills fans think losmans the answer so why cant some of you think that feeley is too !!!
