AJ..the right choice......

Krie30511 & Emskirch, Lawrence is and always has been the biggest Fiedler apologist on this board. You'll only get more and more frustrated arguing with him.

Lawrence, you calling these guys "blinded homers" and such is just the pot calling the ketlle black.
Im so happy you swept in here to help gang up on me, but you can't mask the truth no matter how thick your homer glasses.

Jay Fielder, the man who's led this team to a few 10 win seasons. Let A.J. learn from the vet 1st, then draft a QB for the future if AJ isn't coming along by next year.

If Jay is the starter, then how can you determine if AJ is coming along?

Its called a conversation; although we may disagree, we can still have a discussion. And we thank you for your intelligent input.

Andy Reid did more than say he's nothing more than a 3rd stringer: He left him at 3rd string even after he 1 four games. Your argument is weak; much like that surfer-girls pick throwing right arm.

See this is what I mean about you appearing to have (not saying you do or are) to be right even if it means ignoring all info and only focusing on certain points that make you look right, you dont even attempt to recognize info presented. You may not agree with it and thats fine, but it is speculation on both sides since there is no way to prove it. McNabb is there future, he is 1 yr older than AJ, so it wasnt like he was going to play, he was also a RFA so they knew he would eventually leave. Why not get something for him? It was reported that three other teams were interested in AJ, Clev, Pitts and GB. Is that True? Did they want him to start? Maybe considering all three signed new qbs or drafted a qb. GB wanted someone to groom behind FAvre, Cleveland did sign a new starter, who by the way hasnt looked any better than AJ. So was it blowing smoke? Maybe, but how do you know for fact? You nor I dont know. All I know is RS is a better evaluater of talent than I am as is Wolf and Fassell, 2 people considered by many in the league as qb gurus and they say Feeley is a good qb, that is good enough for me to support him and want him to get a shot. That is NO WAY says I believe his a guarenteed success, it means he has potential to be good and should get a shot.

You feel diff? Fine, your entitled to your opinion. You dont have to be self righteous about it because no matter how strongly you feel to the contrary, I dont have to agree with it or acknowledge it as an authoritative source.

The way I see it:

The Dolphins increase their chances of winning by starting Fiedler because of his experience but I'll rather see what A.J can do for the rest of the season.

One of these two things will happen:

A) A.J will improve as season goes on and win some games.
B) A.J will continue to struggle and the Dolphins will have a top 3 pick. The Dolphins will have to address the QB position again next offseason.

<--------- These homer glasses CHEERED ON Jay for four years while he was at the helm even though I could see along with most others his limited abilities were only gonna take us so far. And this HOMER will CHEER ON AJ Feeley while he is at the helm because he gives us a chance to take this team further........and I will GIVE HIM A CHANCE............GO AJ.......GO PHINS.......

I totally am not self-righteous.

Wow, talk about an excuse making machine. Reality check: he played 8 games in college, and wasn't good enough to beat out Koy Detmer for 2nd string. And apparently he enjoys throwing picks for touchdowns in his spare time. While the o-line was bad, you can't come up with enough excuses to hide his bad decision making. Next time take of your homer goggles and watch the game objectionally.

Larry let me guess! AJ dated your exgirlfriend, beat up your brother, stole your mail or maybe he's just better than Jay! If you watched game you see these are not just excuses rather they are FACTS!! :shakeno: :cooldude: :cooldude:

He comes along by practicing, and learning the system under a proven vet whos won many games with this offense. Feeley is young, there is no hurry.

You want facts? Fact: Three picks in 1 and a half games, 2 returned for touchdowns. Fact: Bad decision making under pressure

Then this is where we disagree.

Lawrence; how many games do you think I can say the same thing about Jay? Seriously?

And don't assume Feeley supporters are Jay haters, I love that gritty SOB. I'm just tired of him not coming up big when it counts, like that NE game last year, or NE game the year before on 3 straight pass plays, or the Baltimore playoff game the year before, or the INT on the first drive for a TD in the Raider playoff game the year before that.

Jay has thrown as many INT's as he has TD's in his career. That's just not good enough. And of course Feeley is struggling, but you dont weigh the future of a player on one and a half games?

Or do you?
