AJ..the right choice......

He comes along by practicing, and learning the system under a proven vet whos won many games with this offense. Feeley is young, there is no hurry.

If we were showing any signs that we could compete for something this season, I MAY agree with this. I do not know but I would even agree more had Ricky not retired. Right now Gordon is so new, he is not comfortable and probably wont be for another month yet. The qb is going to have to carry teh load. Jay has experience but cannot carry the offense, he doesnt have teh arm, AJ does. He needs to make better decisions but that comes from experience. Since we are going to go thru growing pains no matter what, let the kid get some experience.

Feeley spent three years behind McNabb, is that not enough time behind a proven vet?

You must have quoted the wrong quote, lol, because thats why I disagree with him.

You want facts? Fact: Three picks in 1 and a half games, 2 returned for touchdowns. Fact: Bad decision making under pressure
We see what Jay has done for us in the past 4 years...Mediocracy!.... thats it he buckles under pressure.... he does not have the presents of AJ & AJ has only been in this system for 1 offseason jay has been here for 5 ..... what we've seen under Jay is what we're gonna get no better and maybe even worse.... He's not a "potentially" good QB he's done proving...he has proved he cannot take this team to a super bowl & he never will.... jump off of the Jay bandwagon & face reality AJ IS, and I'm willing to put my rep on this, A MUCH BETTER QB THAN JAY.... he will prove that as the season goes on.... stop kidding yourself that Jay will do any more with this team than he has already... average....thats all he is.... 2nd stringer who had his chance to prove himself and he has not.... AJ will prove to pan out, that is my opinon, as far as you little stat is conserned Jay in 3 consecutive drives throws 2 int's & fumbles.... stop kidding yourself....

A.J. would not have won 10 games consecutive years.

 Oh, I didn't know third string guys could not talk to starters?

He not only found himself behind Donovan, he started in his place five times and won four. He did well enough with the fans that they were calling for him when McNabb was struggling early last season.

Was Jay ever a 3rd string QB? How about in Philly?

The man you admire so much was a third string QB, was given a shot and has had a decent career.

Being third string means nothing. Jay has thrown 61 TD's and 60 INT's in his career, inaccurate? Can't throw under pressure?

You dont know this, nobody knows this.

What we do know is that Jay was stuck without a true running game for the first time in Miami against Tennesee, and what happened?

How do you know... stop throwing invalid crap on the board... he's never been given a chance.....

he'll hopefully calm down and stop FORCINg throws. that is a very BAD habit for an NFl QB to have, unless you're brett favre then u can get away with it. we can all agree that he is not favre.

You forgot that he was waived in 96 after being 3rd string in Philly for 2 years. Not that it means anything. Just thought I'd point it out.

2nd string Jay
