I understand getting rid of a guy that refuses to do what he is asked and has become a locker room cancer. But the compensation is still my main issue here. Not even a 3rd for who is still considered to be one of the best RBs in the league? Ouch.

Crazy. Remember in his post game interview when he said he was gonna make changes and "fans weren't gonna like it" wow

Yes...but then I also remembered that Gase = Philbin 2.0

For comparison, when Ricky retired we traded a 3rd rounder for a Rams backup RB.

This franchise is pathetic.

We'll see how this plays out. My guess is we get more pissed over the next several weeks as Ajayi finds new motivation to stick it up Gase's ass. It's the long term that really says the most. If Ajayi is truly a lazy guy it will come about again over time but not until his initial motivation to impress in Philly and screw Gase wears off.

Any normal person who starts workout plans understands what I mean here. Initial motivation is much easier than sustained.

And this website thought that was a great move. "We fleeced the Rams", "Rick does it again". Finheaven was estatic about the Gordon trade, I don't forget stuff like this. Just shows us posters are wrong about this stuff all the time as well.

I'm still really unclear how/why we trade away our main offensive weapon. I get that that coach doesn't like his effort lately and he's expendable and his maybe potential knee issues . . . . but a late 4th round????? Really?!?! Considering we've done very little with the higher picks we've had the last few years, what on earth do they think we are going to get in a late 4th round pick? If he's trying to send a message to the locker room, the one that he really is sending to them and the fans is "the season is over" and I'm putting together my type of team regardless of how the chips may fall. One step forward, two steps back. The mantra of the Dolphins.

You guys know that scene in “Breaking Bad” when Walter is desperately looking for that money only to find out his wife gave it to her boyfriend and all he could do was laugh hysterically and maniacally? That’s me right now...

Thank you Gase. I will spend more time with my family Sunday.

and people call me the fair weather fan....

Also, I doubt Gase will read that...he will go out and win the game and you will come back.

If this trade is because Ajayi isn't doing his job in Gase's system, then trading him makes sense.

If this trade is because the front office don't believe Ajayi has long left in his knees, again this trade makes sense to get something in return for a player while his value is as high as it's likely to ever be.

Now I am personally not happy about seeing Ajayi get traded. I like him as a player and feel he can be a really productive player. But if Gase doesn't want him and feels the offense will be better off without him, then I guess we have to trust Gase knows what he is doing. I think this move could backfire on him, but time will tell.

A pro bowler in his prime for a fifth round. With Eagles record , its practically a fifth. Bravo, well done. Trade Landry, RT, Stills , Suh, Jones, while you can. But make sure to keep the OL intact.
This is one for the book.

The 7-1 Eagles just got better. We trade away on of our brightest stars for a 4th round pick after getting blown out 40-0. So the eagles made a move to get better, we make a move to get worse. What are they thinking? Even Jimmy Johnson even knows you put up with a little crap from players that are producing. That’s something Philbin didn’t get and apparently neither does Gase.
