Alabama 2006 expectations

Yep, I think Arkansas suprises alot of people this year.

Its a shame though that McFadden is a no go for the USC game.

Yeah I know, I saw that.

I think it will be a transition year, but you never know Bama is still a talented team and could end up suprising. I move down to tuscaloosa in about a week for school. Looking foward to seeing my first Tide football game live.

What are you guys' view on Greg McElroy? How has he been looking in practice?

Arkansas will have a weak defense. I don't see Bama, Auburn, or LSU dropping from the top 3 in the West. Their QB situation is completely unsettled, even with their fresh qb. They have some playmakers on offense in McFadden, Hillis, and the tall WR...but c'mon.

Well, Greg has definitely improved. His dad is a big-whig in the Dallas Cowboys office and before he reported, he spent his summer working timing routes and skeleton with Bledsoe, TO, Glenn, Whitten, etc. He also drastically improved his shuttle and 40 times by playing a strict regimen of racqetball (random, I know).
He was a thin frame in hs, but he seems to have gained 10 lbs of muscle since his Rivals photo. He will prob redshirt, and immediately move to #2 on depth chart next yr.
