They hang out in the offseason together, anyway. I dunno. I think Mike's capacity to do some bonehead idiocy is the same either way.
 
I got excited i thought there was actually some discussion among the coaches about moving Pouncey to guard :(.

They did...remember who they tried to free? Ugh. I do agree with you tho, those two on the line would rock.

There was one report of it during the bye week that they tried it out in a walkthrough.

Mostly it's just me and a couple of other guys banging the drum here for no reason. It's not like they're going to actually do it.
 
I think a lot of the "move to guard" talk stems from the week he missed and how the offense still ran well yet managed to get more defensive off sides. The theory is Pouncy has a tell. C is a cheap position, relatively, and if Mack would come here, move Pouncy to guard, Brenner at the other, resign McKinnie for cheap, draft a tackle to play RT until McKinnie is done, that would be a nice overhaul without huge expenditures. Once McKinnie retires move the RT to LT and draft another RT. Not too shabby and you aren't selling out for O line in a draft with a lot of talent. The question is how much does Mack cost compared to a top tackle?

Lolwut? Mike Pouncey is a top 3 center in the NFL. His brother is top 10. We have the better player. This post is all around horrible.

Your "top 3 center" helps anchor the worst line in possibly Dolphin history with 58 sacks and the 26th run game. Take off the aqua glasses.

Pouncey is a Top 3 Center. Good OLs have a top tier LT, and we don't. We have a good LT, but hes old and not pro bowl material. Our Guards are terrible, our RT is a girl that looks like a man, and our LT is just getting to AARP status. If Pouncey were on a good OL (like the Broncos), he would do amazing. Get us a good RT next year, a good guard, and watch our OL be Top 10.

With all that said, why move a Top 3 Center to another position? Let him do what he does best.
 
IMO if we could bring either Maurkice or Mack in our running game would be insane.
