Alex Smith serious about Miami per Peter King

So Smith is that much better than Moore that we put out 10ish mil. for........IMO I hope not would have been better signing Winston for 5mil but then that would solidify the RT and ireland unable to bring in anymore hasbeens for RT

I dont really see Alex Smith as franchise QB, Although I wouldnt mind having him come in to compete with moore this year...maybe sign him to a 2 or 3 year deal and see what he can do. One can only hope that we get a reversal of Tedd ginn Jr and Alex Smith comes to miami and plays much better than previously
 
I don't think he is almost 6 million dollars better than Moore, let alone better at all. It's a bit of a joke that they're even entertaining the idea.
 
you think they are gonna pay smith $8 mil per year to compete with matt moore??? honestly...where do you guys come up with some of this stuff...if he's competing for that price tag don't bring him in

Dude, saying if the Dolphins sign Smith they won't draft a QB early is like saying the sky is blue. Why even bother?

There's no fight, take tomorrow off, assuming you have a job or go to school, and go protest the Phins. Make sure to make a little sign so they see what you think. It will make a HUGE difference.

wouldn't be the least surprised, even giving him more money. Think SF is offering 8 mil....

Smith just using us like everybody else does and thats a gift........

yeah...i got a job and its a damn good one...again though this wasn't me posting some revelation i was just letting that guy know odds are slim to zero smith comes here and we draft a qb given that price tag...

now move on...
 
Please Say NO, Moore starts...Garrard backup....stockpile on wr's in this draft; Floyd/Hill.....If we suck we go and get Barkley

If he hasn't signed by this afternoon, it is just a ploy to extract more money out of San Fran.
 
Why would he come here? I understand the Ego thing with them going after Manning and such, but, let's see, a team with Crabtree, Davis, Gore, and a top 5 Defense that was one game away from the Superbowl, or, a 6-10 team with Bess, Hartline, and Bush..hmmmmm, i'd actually take less money to go back to SF and make up..
