what i saw from restelli against the cowboys was a safety who was playin an awful lot up around the box...thus he was near the ball...i didn't see anything that says put this man on the 53...looks small for a former lb in the cfl...
and culver took a pay cut??? from what...like the $1.5 mil salary he was making before the cut??? news to me...whats his cap hit now??? watching culver he's making calls and getting people in the right position but he doesn't make any plays on his own...if its me he's one of the last on the 53 or i cut him and keep only 3 safeties with the idea reshad jones can play strong if something happened to bell...and use that extra slot on another position to keep a guy with more upside...i want the best 53 not a set # for each position...
nate ness needs to get his walking papers...he couldn't even cover the cowboys 3rd string guys
I am sure that you know that when Restelli was playing up in the box that is where he was supposed to be for that particular formation. At 6'2" according to his Dolphin bio he would seem to be exactly the right size to play safety. Likewise that size in the CFL is the perfect size to play linebacker up there. For those that don't know in Canada the playing field is 10 yards longer, the end zones 10 yards deeper, and the field is 12 yards wider. Therefore smaller and faster works in Canada. On the other hand Refrigerator Perry would have had a tough time in Canada. I always like to see the Cowboys get beaten so I watched until the end of the game. On the next to last play of the game Brandsteter threw a pass to the end zone and Restelli defended the and he can really get into the air.
And all I said earlier is that it would be a mistake for the Dolphins to not at least put him on the practice squad.
