All of you guys who keep saying we pick our needs are wrong.

the simple story of wanting quick and easy points with these huge explosive WR's that are labeled as big play-makers.... doesnt work in the NFL without a surrounding of everything else.

Millen is not so bright

it's arguable, but ok... and what about all the other points i brought up lol talk about being lazy... and stubborn ?

Ya, that is what he will say. That is not the truth though. He is a poker player he doesn't let people know what he is gonna do. All of our picks last year were BPA

No, they weren't! Jake Long instead of Matt Ryan was "need". We had no LT. Merling was a need and so was Langford, since they wanted to go full time to 3-4, we didn't really have 3-4 DEs. Henne was a "need" pick too, as we needed QB and weren't able to select Matt Ryan since we had no LT and no LT was going to be there at #32 that can be a franchise LT.

Shawn MUrphy and Donald Thomas were "need" picks, as we need Gs in a big way. We weren't sure yet on Ricky Williams or Cobbs....so we picked Parmallee as a "need" pick, not BPA. We were looking for a FB so we picked Hilliard....Dotson was in the 7th round, so that was a BPA.

So the whole first day of the draft was in line with Ireland's philosophe...."BPA based on our NEEDS"....

Ya we should take BPA every pick so if it happens to be a WR we can draft 8 of them, we might become as good as Detroit one day if we're lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:sidelol: Exactly! I don't see why people don't get it?
