I have grown comfortable with a Devante Parker selection at 14. Now some mocks and analysts have Perriman rising into the top 20 consideration, and many see us picking him at 14. I think that would be a huge mistake.

1. He doesn't seem to play as fast as he was timed at his pro day.
2. His route running is sloppy
3. Questionable hands

does that sound like a first round pick? What do others think?

he may be good wr tall and fast. he looks good to me

He definitely plays as fast as he times. I don't see how you can say he doesnt. Is he worth it? Yes.

We all have different opinions about players, you have valid concerns, so no, youre not crazy.

Imo, he isn't a first round pick and I'd be upset if we drafted him at 14. If we took him in round 2 I'd be ok with him (prefer round 3, but we don't have a 3rd rounder, and I think he will be gone by round 4.)

The WR class this year is pretty deep, I just don't want to see us reaching for a WR when we have other holes we need to fill. Most mocks I've messed around with where Cooper, White, or Parker didn't fall to us in round 1, I was able to grab DGB or Perrimen (or another decent WR) in rounds 2, 4, or 5.

A GREAT player is going to fall to us at 14, I just don't know who yet. Depending on our first pick, that will set the tone of the draft.

our wr core is avg without Wallace. our db need help.. our og is weak?? mlb can wait another year. I don't like our roster this year. I like suh but we need more than him to win. offense need score more point. we just got to much hole fill in one year... I am looking at new coach 2016. first two round player need start or play a lot.

I remember everyone gushing over Tavon Austin a few years back, me included, but just having speed alone will not make you an elite NFL receiver.

You're not crazy for disliking any drafty at anytime. There have been great prospects who failed and not great ones that excelled. That is the best part of the drafting process is the uncertainty of determining that "can't miss" talent. There are just so many variables in the equation that no one is truly a can't miss prospect.

You just have to trust your evaluation, get a little lucky on draft day and then hope all goes according to plan.

I'm not incredibly high on Breshard, I just haven't seen many WRs go from being bad at catching to good at it.

But of he played for Alabama, we would probably be calling him Julio Jones 2.

But than again he would also have tape against much better competition. So I dunno, Breshard is a tough one to scout. To me he looks sloppy at just About everything.

I like Breshad .... As a second round pick .

At 14 . NO

I like him I just don't LOVE him.

And you better LOVE him to take him at #14.

His hands worry me and I think hands are kind of important for a WR.

Hands and route running are way more important than size/speed.

Now if you get him in round 2 I have no problem with it but i see him being over drafted due to his 40 time.

I think if I ran a team I would ban scouts from even mentioning pro day 40 times.

no - a WR's #1 job is to catch the ball... something he has issues with. give me the sure handed receiver over the speedster any day of the week.

plus, tannehill doesnt need the wr to be wide open, he likes throwing bullets underneath. yes we need an outside threat that can go deep and win 50/50 balls in the red zone. we need someone like Vincent Jackson in his heyday - not another wallace clone (albiet taller and possibly stronger in perriman)

I agree there are major concerns, I just think you've got it a little mixed up. His hands are pretty ****ty at this point. He is the perfect example of a player that rises too high off of combine numbers and never lives up to expectations. I have a little more faith since he is Brett perrimans sons and that dude had ridiculous hands, but in this case the apple may fall far from the tree on a few traits. I really don't like going for a speedy receiver with bad hands, kinda of the opposite of what we really need. White/Parker, Landry, stills. That's what I'm hoping to see as our top 3 starting the year.

False and one of my biggest gripes with Tannehill.

Silly Comment.

And NO to Perriman at 14. Every scouting report there is on him lists questionable hands as a "con". I don't care what else he does well, Why would that warrant a #14 selection for a WR.

Give me one of the top 3 WRs or wait until rnd 2.
