Am I the only 1 worrying about the Browns week 1.

Why do so many place so much stock in early pre-season games? They are not gameplanned for and you will not see all the bells and whistles early in games like these.

The other factor I think many should keep in mind (particulary in the case of QB's), is that playing one or two series in a game does not allow time for a QB or any other player for that matter to get into a groove. I watched Marino often struggle for a quarter, half or even 3 quarters only to find his rhythm late in a game.

I see nothing that should overly scare us about Cleveland, this is the NFL and that means the "any given sunday" rules always applies...but please, lets not overreact.

No dude, I'm with you, I don't think they are going to be hard to handle. I think Weeden is getting into a good place and their D is going to be stout...

Every road game is hard to win. Their fans will go crazy if they get a lead. We've been starting slow in the preseason games so we better change that fast. I don't believe we have any easy teams to beat this year. Starting on the road is never easy either and the schedule gets worse after that.

Ozzy rules!!

Cleveland is feeling how I want to feel about the QB position......seeing big improvement in the QB play after the rookie yr.....This is good that they are playing well in preseason we will not take them lightly and which ever team wins will feel real good about the season, the loser not so much......

I was counting on them being a pushover victory. I know its only preseason but.... They're looking decent....Just saying.

You are correct the Browns look very good this preseason and it's going to be a hard game however, I still believe that the Phinz will win. The fact that WR Josh Gordon will not be playing helps the Phinz out alot, Gordon is a matchup nightmare.

It sure would be nice to see the Phins reverse some of our recent history this year. Beat the Browns on the road, beat the pats, beat buffalo and the jets twice. It's time. Too bad we aren't playing the texans in a regular season game this year, or I could add them to the list. Maybe this year.....

We should be worried about every game. What have the Miami Dolphins done to make anyone confident about beating anyone? BUT, I love our defense in this game. The offense? No clue.

Am I high or didn't we beat the Browns on a Sunday night game a couple of years ago???

No the last time we beat them was 9 years ago.

This thread is making b have flasbacks to 2005...I think Ruben Droughns is still running.

The only games I tend to worry about are division games, because those are always toss-ups no matter how good or bad the Jets / Bills / Pats are playing.

Browns will always be Meh to me, no matter how good or bad we look. If we dont beat them, I dont consider it end of the world. I predict growing pains, and we may need more time to gel. This is the first time Tanne will have real weapons all around him.
