Who has a slight bit of hope? Who wants to beat the s- out of the Jets this week, just so we can have one week with a slight bit of optimism? So we can start hearing things like, "Dolphins just needed confidence and things are starting to click."

I know it is a long to shot to turn the season around, but what if? Am I the only one who hates knowing that we can be out of the playoff race by week 7?

How as a true Miami fan can you sit and root for us to lose? Especially against the Jets. I just don't get it. I know that Luck could turn this franchise around. I know that losing all of our games will almost certainly give us that opportunity to draft him. To me that would be the bright spot about having an awful year, but not something to root for.

Give me one week where I can watch Sportscenter without wanting to throw up. Give me one week of hope. How nice would it be to just demoralize the Jets? It's just too early to completely give up. Stranger things have happened. You just never know.....
 
I had some hope. The Dolphins killed all of that by about half time of the Browns game. That game proved what kind of a team this is. Sure I want to beat the jets. I just don't have much hope that they will.
 
if we could have 2 wins this year i want them against the jets, but we always find a way to lose. i am pretty sure the new regime will find a way to win
 
agreed, the suck for luck campaign has got to stop. MNF is a huge win, particulary against the jests. IT would be nice to put them in a 2-4 hole. We need a big game out of our O and D line, play two halves of football and no turn overs. GO FINS!
 
The season is over. We're going to Suck For Luck regardless if you want to or not. We lost to 4 AFC teams in a row. Even if we came back to win 9 or 10 games, we'd lose every tiebreaker.

Somebody tries to start a positive thread and the Suckers gotta come in and poop all over it.
 
I hear ya! I hope they destroy the Jets and pound Dirty Sanchez into the ground.

I highly doubt 9 or 10 wins win the division. With that said, I want to beat the Jets.

It's still a discussion board. It's no different than those that still have hope for the season going into SFL threads.

That being said, absolutely nothing wrong with having a little hope. SFL is a symptom of a growing dissatisfaction with mediocrity. Actually, it's more a symptom of that frustration hitting it's peak. It shouldn't be too surprising. This is a storied franchise that has been decimated by absolutely horrible decisions, starting with a complete disregard for the most important position in football. We all want the best for the team, some just think it will take getting the first pick overall at any cost.

Personally, I simply can't root against this team. It's against my nature. However, #1 would be a very nice consolation prize. I'll still be at the game on Monday cheering for the Phins. I'll still be wearing my Phins gear while walking through the city before heading to the game.

People just need to calm down (myself included). We all want the same thing. And I guarantee most fans will be extremely happy if we beat the jests in Giants stadium, regardless of whether their in the SFL crowd.

It's unlikely but the division is a toss-up at the moment. I'm just being a homer.

we will beat the jets monday! thats just the way the cookie crumbles. some of you will be pissed but i will be jacked up!
