amazing how the playoffs are right there for us

I think this team could make a run, but they have to fix the way they start and finish games. It seems like we are coming out flat and the OLine breaks down late in games.

9-7 with wins over sd and the jets twice we make it...Conference record is important. Baltimore may go on a run though and they beat us head to head. I think it its a 2 way tie its h2h, 3 way conference record. Essentially Miami can only lose to Carolina and one other game
 
CMON OP! Don't you know this forum is only for fans whining and moaning about their team!? How DARE you make a thread to bring optimism and hope back into these boards!! Do something useful and make a FIRELAND Thread, or another about Martin and how he is such a *****, or how Tannehill is below average, and Mike Wallace is a bust!

Even if you beat SD and the Jets twice, I see you losing to Carolina, Pittsburgh and NE.
 
We're there but when only one spot is available and we're 1 among 5 or 6, with potential for somebody below us to get hot and join the mix, well the odds are fairly straight forward right there.

The focus obviously needs to be 6.5 wins, not the playoffs. We can't afford to jeopardize that 6.5 number with foolish choices toward a possible playoff berth. I'm confident the regime backs me on that.
 
I dont see us beating the Jets twice...I would have prior to losing 2 starters from the OL. The Jets D line will now eat us alive.

These game will probably be feild goal feasts.

I was at that week 3 game. Best game I have ever seen live. Aside from losing in OT and Wesely Walker having a career day.

Marino threw like half a dozen TDs. Damn, I miss those days. :(

Its possible that someone could get in at 8-8, that's more likely to happen in the NFC this season.

That's what's so bad, that mess beat us at home with a third string quarterback, and we were coming off a bye.
