Tannehill & the Pump Fake - Why not ?

Wish Tannehill had the TIME to pump fake! if the ball is not gone in less than 2 seconds he will be flat on his back with three DL chewing on him. Doesn't anyone remember that sack by Mario Williams on Tannehill? :domoblow: Kid had a lot of guts (or a concussion) to get up from that.

You are correct though. That's been a sore spot for many Dolfans. Tannehill stares down receivers and does not pump fake at all - let alone do something crazy like mixing up a snap count. Not clear why the coaching staff is not trying everything possible to gain any advantage they can. A real head scratcher...:ponder:

I believe Tannehill could be a GOOD QB, not a great one. Further, I don't believe his coaching has been the best thus far. Need some coaching that is a QB turnaround specialist perhaps.

I here you. The fins were and are also precieved as a mess by every team we play now...I believe this is also a contributing factor for teams like the bills and bucs to get up and play better then they would against someone they feel inferior to. Both these teams were on fire, ready to whip our pourly prepaired azz, and did.

I'm not making excuses...just the way it goes when your in termoil.
 
We would have to win this game, beat the Jets twice (the officials/goodell wont let that happen while we go through Bullygate), At Buffalo (never good in December), Patriots (see NY Jets), Steelers (as there superbowl vs. softie Wallace).

Yeah, us agains the world. Unfortunately, the coaching staff isnt seeing that way.
 
the main reasons for the dolphins losses is that they couldnt put the team away at the right time but yet start making mistakes at a critcal time. all the losses were from 3 pts except for the saints. the jets are fortunate enough to have that current record but analytically they are terrible and no better than miami especially the way geno smith is playing. tannehill is way more of accurate passer and doesnt do boneheaded mistakes like smith does. it will come down to chargers, titans or ravens...miracally the fins

At your Place...yes, it would have actually been more impressive if you had done it at theirs. Miami actually was dominating the Pats at their place, and if not for the coaching staff double guessing themselves, and the word coming from the NFL offices to the Refs make sure the score quickly changed the way they expected....who knows Miami might have actually done something pretty impressive....like when they beat the Colts at their home field. :)

You were "dominating" them yet lost by 10 pts, we didn't play well and lost by 3 pts in the same building.

The Rams just won at Indy 38-8 and it wasn't as close as the score indicates.

browns 4-5 play at cincinatti, thats a loss
ravens 4-5 play at chicago, most likely a loss
miami-san diego is basically an elimination game

jets wont have an easy time at buffalo, could easily lose that game.

we're not very good, but neither are any of these other 4-5 teams. win sunday and i think the final wild card will come down to the 2 miami-ny december games.

buffalo isn't very good anyway and now their top 2 receivers are out
 
The frustrating part is we gave away games to the Bills, Ravens and Succaneers last week....coulda/shoulda won all three and we could be sitting pretty.

that was impressive win you had at the bucs monday......you guys are definitely looking like contenders with such a quality win on the road against a tough opponent
