There's got to be a reason why he didn't sign anywhere until now.
FanMarino said:yeah 6'4 is big for a Centre. Hadnot for me but he may be solid backup.

I can't wait to see him in action!!
They called him Mt. Ephraim in Philly, named after a town in Jersey.
I think we should call him the "A-Frame"
I don't know why you think that 6'4" is tall for a center. Someone else also made the comment in another thread about St.Clair that he is too tall at 6'5" to be an effective center. These days, there are 6'4" and taller centers throughout the NFL that are good solid starters at the very least: Matt Birk, Vikings, 6'4", Mike Flanagan, Green Bay, 6'5", Andy McCollum, Rams, 6'4", Kevin Mawae, Jets, 6'4", Jeff Mitchell, Panthers, 6'4", Jeremy Newberry, 49ers, 6'5", Casey Rabach, Redskins, 6'4", Chris Spencer, Seattle, 6'4", Robbie Tobeck, Seattle, 6'4", John Wade, Tampa, 6'5", Al Johnson, Dallas, 6'4".FanMarino said:yeah 6'4 is big for a Centre.
