eagles cowboys is a win and in lose and out game, that will be snf guaranteed

the only other game that can be win and in lose and out is the bears packers if the bears lose tonight, but i dont think nbc would risk putting that game on nbc unless they knew rodgers was certain to play, which he is far from as of now.
 
I think I'd rather go to Indy. There's a reason Cincy is undefeated at home.

Yeah but....by your logic we **** the bed against bad teams, but we play well against good teams, right??? So, if we get into the playoffs, we'll play well because we're playing a good team on the road. I'm all for it!

Well, apparently it was too confusing for ME; I didn't realize Jets Div Record knocks us out if we lose.

If you haven't noticed, Dolphin fan apathy started years ago. Have you seen game attendance recently?

The cowboys have been in the final sunday night game the last two years. Jerry must have paid someone. :lol:

I think we will know tonight what they do with the schedule. They announced it on the night of the 23rd last year , which was SNF.
 
Our Destiny was in our hands and now it is not. A team that wont even win half of its games beat us twice and once when we should have been focused on nothing more than a victory and a playoff berth. To come out and get embarrassed and shutout is unacceptable. Its not like we played a good team which makes it that much worse. Getting into the playoffs because nobody else can win doesn't feel as good as getting in by taking care of your own business. Once your in your in but I think we all can agree this team isn't gonna do anything in the playoffs anyway. I just feel like the whole outlook of the team would have been much more positive if we could have won our last 2 games. But no we cant beat the lowly Bills hell we cant even score a freaking point against them. Same old ****e different year. I didn't give the Jets credit when they backed into the playoffs so I will have a hard time giving Miami credit if we back into the playoffs given the bull**** performance we just put in with our season potentially on the line.

If Ravens/Dolphins/Chargers all lose, but Steelers win, Steelers are in. If all 4 lose, Ravens. Regardless, Dolphins are eliminated if they lose.
 
I think the real question is...how do our hopes gets crushed next week? Does Baltimore recover from getting slaughtered by the Pats and beat Cincy, combined with the Chargers losing? Or will the Dolphins play like they did today and lose to the Jets at home? At some point we have to accept that things just won't go our way. From the Tucker 61-yard FG, to this abysmal Buffalo show today, it just doesn't seem like we're going to seize the opportunity.
 
You shouldn't be in the playoffs if the only two wins Thad Lewis has in his career is against you and in those games, he has 0 TDs 2 Ints.

At this point, I'll take the playoffs regardless of how they get in tbh...

They will never get that chance because the Jets would eliminate them in the divisional tiebreaker. WV knows what he's talking about . . . even if it may not be "as" direct as some of you would like it to be.

And you shouldn't be on a dolphins message board saying the Dolphins shouldn't be in the playoffs...
 
We've competed on every game but the Saints and this atrocious Buffalo game. No reason we can't compete in the playoffs. All those teams are vulnerable, even Denver who lost to a Chargers team we defeated.
