And just like that..... we have a GREAT shot at getting in the playoffs

27-7 New England. We win, Ravens lose, we're in. We win, Ravens and Chargers both win, we're in. Key theme: WE BETTER WIN.

Side note.....

What a win by the Cardinals on the road in Seattle.

The Cards play at San Fran next week. If San Fran loses tomorrow night, the Cards can get in with a win next week.

The Cards can also get in if the Saints lose next week and the Cards win vs San Fran.
cards r better than any of the 6th seeds in the afc, but i still think they miss out, bc i dont see the saints losing at home. if the game was in tampa, id deff have them losing.

So we're technically the 6 seed right now correct? We lose and move into the 6th seed lol. I know it doesn't mean much right now but wow we got lucky with Balt and SD.

Yea. Its crazy. Thats tiebreak scenarios for you.

We lost and technically we are the 6 seed right now. If the playoffs started today, we would be in.

Patriots finish route of Baltimore.

Playoff scenarios for Miami are simple:

Win and Ravens loss

OR

Win and Chargers win

Agreed. Cards already have 10 wins, including the only team to beat Seattle on the road and NOBODY has talked much about them.

Its funny that people on here whine about the media ignoring us. Arizona hasnt gotten much love all year. They are better than several AFC playoff teams.

I don't know man, get in and go through another possible 62-7 debacle?

Would've been nice if the 'fates' allowed it (get #2) but in the end the true Dolphins showed up. The deep rooted flaws this team has are still there and very much alive. Last season we ended up 7-9, but with a couple of breaks here and there we would've been 9-7, and so on and so forth the last few years. Even with Sparano as coach, a few breaks and suddenly its 9-7 and not 7-9. There really hasn't been any changes that have made much of a difference with this FO.

The only light at the end of the tunnel is really the QB position. But hey, lets keep the 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 over and over and over ground hog day thing going on for a few more years, why not.

If the Ravens lose to the Bengals, and the Dolphins beat the Jets, the Dolphins are in...regardless of the San Diego result. I believe we still have a chance if the Ravens win, but that would mean San Diego would have to beat KC, creating a 3-way tie at 9-7.

Even after the absolute garbage performance today I expect to beat the Jets. I expected a letdown today (though not THAT bad). I wouldn't be surprised if we come out next week and look good. Let the cards fall where they may and see what happens. Last time we could say the last game of the season mattered was 5 years ago.

How much ya wanna bet the idiots at ESPN and NFL Network still have Baltimore in that 6 spot all week, while the Fins are in the 'in the hunt' column? Dollars to doughnuts they **** it up all week.

Also, FWIW..... side note............

Lions have been eliminated. Matthew Stafford throws a pick 6 late in the game that sends it to OT, where the Giants win.

Matthew Stafford is so overrated. He turns the ball over way too much to be a consistent winner. He is a trick shot QB.

I'd rather get in and risk getting embarrassed if only to have a week of excitement and possibility leading up to the game. I'm sick of watching other teams in the playoffs.

NFL Redzone showing Baltimore as 6 seed and us in the hunt lol. Morons.
