I wasn't really waiting for this, Muck. Sorry, man. Fiedler is no longer a Dolphin. He's of little interest to me, especially for the revenge factor that everyone seems to want.

I would kill for AJ to have that kind of completion % and YPA. If y'all want to blindly bash Feidler for playing poorly in a system no one has looked good in thats fine. But 7-9 for 69 yards (I didn't see the INT but I heard it wasn't his fault) is a GOOD game - no matter who you are.

But we all know that Fielder is hot and cold. He has a fresh start, and so do we... That is so much more important...

I ran into Jay at JBs in Deerfield Beach right before he was released... He said that he wanted to stay, but if the Dolphins didn't want him, then "F- them" he said... I was surprised that he said that...

I was always a Fiedler fan, you have to support your team. But now I can't wait for Taylor to get a hold of him! I doubt Pennington will be back any time soon, and Jay will get hurt sooner or later...
 
I think it was Joey Harrington who had the really good game....something like 9 for 9 and a bit over 100 yards. Of course Jay did throw an int.

7 of 9 was a better % than any of our QBs had in their first preseason game, plus Fiedler had a rushing TD. the INT was on a tipped ball, which isn't as bad as if he threw the ball directly to a DB, which is what happened with our QBs.

keep in mind frerotte went 11/17 which is a 65% comp. percentage. Fiedler went 7/9 for 78% comp percentage.... granted Fiedler didn't play as long.
our most accurate passer that game was Sage, who threw for 6/9 (67%).

Honestly that WASN'T a typical fiedler performance. If fiedler had maintained a 78% accuracy rate as our QB, and had maintained a 1:1 TD:INT ratio, he might still be on our team.

the fact is he played better than his average.... so give the guy credit.
 
I hate the fact that Jay is in our division, why couldn't he have signed with the Giants instead?

were you watching the NFL.com live stats? Jay was moving the team on every single play. the only mistake he made all night seemed to be that first interception.

Dolphin fans are amazing. One preseason game and the majority is throwing feeley to the dogs. None of the QB the phins have are above average, however its Feeley that scares me.

I pray its Gus against us in week 1.

Obviously that guy didn't watch the game....b/c he had a good game. The pick was tipped. Other than that he was dead on target.
