and the 78th pick is....

Great athlete, nice pick, add competition to the TE position

awesome see lots of 2 TE sets, and running game will be phenominal.

Physical freak. Like it. Back to back potential laden mofos.

Nothing against the guy, but I'd much rather have taken a WR or DB.

they said he was a freakish athlete - seemed like he had good #'s, thought they would go WR, but not yet..

Love this draft so far

We all obviously wanted a WR and that hasn't happened but great value on all these players, especially Vernon.

Where's the WR?????? I like this pick as a receiving TE. That gives us Fasano, Clay, and Egnew. Good group. But we have no speed on the outside unless Gates steps up big time.

I bash Ireland alot, but I am sorry I like this draft so far. Now get a damn WR or two with your next few picks.

Good pick, but I am surprised they went with a tight end over a WR. Not a head scratching pick from a value or need perspective, but a little weird that no WR in the first three rounds.

Looks like Fasano's days are numbered.

Probably his last year in Miami. Clay last year, Egnew this year and maybe that Les Brown guy might become something.

Like the pick, concerned about WRs. Guess that will get addressed in next years draft.

Egnew has long stride speed and can create after the catch. He's a very good route runner for his position and will work defenders ragged with nice cuts inside and outside. Egnew's blocking is very limited and it'll take time for him to grow as a well-rounded tight end. For now, he's a wide receiver in a tight end's body.
