Andrew Mcdonald backs Turner and the Dolphins

Biggest problem with his so called conspiracy is that The NFL chose Wells not the parents.

Yeah but boiy if those ivy-leagures dont stick together. Free Masons everywhere.

Ill add theory of my own. Who kills the Miami Dolphins early and often.? The league. Hell, i know about the memos to referees when we play the Pats but i havent found hard evidence... Yet. :) then again im sure the memo is sent to all Pats games. :(

Any way, if ol' Mr. Goody is looking for an opt to make an example and add another notch on his belt for ways he has improved the NFL- there yah have it.

That's the issue - people are making calls that are inappropriate for players with mental health problems. Think about it, Ireland and his group could identify talent but Martin, Incognito, Brandon Marshall and Davone Best all had mental health related issues. Marshall has been open about his borderline personality disorder (which I understand is extremely difficult to deal with). Bess has effectively imploded over the past year and his career is in tatters. Incognito was a known alpha dog sociopath long before he came to Miami.
Whatever we were doing to assess the mental health of players wasn't very good because we got a disproportionate share of the major problems.
While Ireland talked a good game about recruiting good character players, he should also have looked at their mental health. I can see teams appointing psychologists to assess the mental health of all players. They might give them a fancy title, but their role will be to assess all players and coaches.
Some will probably say that this is crazy, just play ball, but the really good Head Coaches are probably already skilled in this capacity of evaluation.

I'm glad you brought this up. Ireland and really any NFL player personal, unless they have a Doctrine in the field, should not be representing themselves as psychologist. The little time they have to evaluate a player is not enough for any expert to determine a players mental health. It takes months to truly evaluate a person mental health, you would be a fool to believe someone if they say they can. Unless a player has a history of mental illness, drafting a player and trying to determine their mental health, even with a psychologist is a waste of time. Its going to happen, learning how to deal with it once discovered or creating ways to discover these issues the only thing the team can do.

Spiketex, i must have missed your post. My bad. Thanks for chiming in on the mental health issue.

I dont believe its the NFL's responsibility. Its a personal issue. Your boss shouldnt have to chime nor be obligated.

I could see a situation where something like Incognito's priors or a Martin occurs, the league must impose mandatory therapeutic help monitoring reports from the therapist in order to be allowed to work in the league.

Jmart should not have blown up and left. He should have made the claim of hostile workplace / harassment. Either it would have ended the circus or he would have had a much stronger case to take all the way to the bank. He's really kind of dumb for a Stanford grad and the son of lawyers.

Its my understanding that one of the 1st things you learn in Law School is that ignorance is not a defense.

Youre the first person other than myself to mention the insight of Martin's severe depression. As a matter of fact, I believe the real bully, the one that mattered most, was the severe depression. That was the monster far more terrorizing than Incognito.

I'm skeptical of the whole depression not because Martin is faking, but, 1) who wants their dirty laundry aired in public? and 2) its a sympathy play in the court of public opinion.

What is more 21st century America than playing the PC and/or victim card when things don't go your way? :d-day:

Reach of a conspiracy theory but very interesting indeed. Thanks for the research. I honestly love a good conspiracy theory. Who doesnt?

Not a conspiracy just facts. Its interesting that Wells defended another snitch/Judas

Though, the real conspiracy could be why did the league choose Wells knowing of his connections?

Glad to see you to recognize the evilness of the Ivy League.

Another team that Miami gets screwed against alot? The stealers. It almost happened this past season & certainly happened in 2010.
