I'm agreeing in that BOTH extremes are wrong... but I just cannot give that performance a passing grade based on a couple plays... Sorry but hitting a wide open receiver against reserves with busted coverage is not an example of True Grit... At the same time I'm not going to let him swing in the wind on either of those INT's...
Unfortunately I expect those kinds of mistakes... Now wait... I'm NOT kicking sand in his face... Hear me out!!

Let's accept what he is and what he isn't... He will make those mistakes and it is up to those around him to help him MINIMIZE them... Bess has to HELP his QB and that BEGINS with running the correct route... I truly can't blame Henne for trying to manufacture something from nothing... But he can't let Bess off the hook... He cannot just take a bullet for him and this is what worries me most... He has got to start making guys accountable...
last year on occasion Fasano, Hartline and Marshall publicly showed up their QB by demonstrating their frustration... Visibly disrespecting him and he did nothing... he has to lead in order to take any kind of step forward... He needs the respect and the help of his teammates... I can only imagine what the guy in my sig would have done if anyone dared do that on his watch.
