It is amazing, in one draft, Saban has made us care about seventh rounders ( Vickerson ) as opposed to saying, well, he was just a seventh rounder when they get cut.

But man, if we can grab Hawthorne I would be stoked. I don't know who we cut...maybe one of the CB's ( Richard or Edwards ). He would be an outstandning pickup and would help the youth movement going onon the line with Shaw, Wright, Roth and eventually Vickerson.

Not to mention that next year we should have Poole back and ready to rumble with Daniels and the young Crowder at LB. Saban has put us in a great position to convert this defense over quickly and without much of a hiccup.

Hawthorne fell in the draft because he tested positive for marijuana. Then I think he was out of shape during his workouts, etc. Worth a look.
 
He's actually a pretty good player.
 
Here are his stats 8 Solo Tackles, 1 Sack. Not to shabby and we need the depth.

Forget Hawthorne if we can get our hands on Cletidus Hunt. It will take all of us to to haul him in.

I think his parents were hoping he was a girl when we was born, so named him cletidus to torcher him for not being a girl.:rofl3:

Yeah, Lekkerkerker...that sounds like someone answering a history question in school and making up a name and then trailing off when they realize the teacher is on to them.

Teacher, " Timmy can you tell be who turned on the Amaericans during the civil war?"

Timmy, snapping to attention after being called on while putting gum in the girls hair in front of him, " That would be Brad Lekkerker...ker."

Teacher, " Now, Timmy you are just guessing aren't you?

Timmy, " Shut up! I will get my parents to fire you! I own this school biatch!"

that last part was probably more at my school than most though...
