Any news on Grimes signing?

I would like to see the phins go hard at Alterraun Verner ,only 25 years old !!!!!!!!
 
When you consider how seldom free agency signings actually perform up to their contracts, Id like for the Fins to tag Grimes. At least that way, Id know the Fins wont waste all of their cap space this offseason on overpaid duds.

Yeah, I saw that also. She also played tennis with Joe Rose today and was supposed to be entertaining the Clabos with a little apple pie moonshine involved.

I have no concerns he is either tagged in the next few hours or gets a deal

Either way he will be a hard workig fin next year
 
Hickey, Dawn and Joe come up big if they can re-sign him with no tag and obviously not losing him to another team.
 
If we can lock him up it will be a good start to the whole off season after J-mart ruined last season. With constant bashing we have recieved over the last couple months over GM hirings and firing of coaches it would be welcome good news.
 
If they let him walk, they are incompetent. I don't think they want to be put on blast any more than they already have been. He was the steal of FA last year and proved his worth. Pay the man and make us all happy.
 
I think it's a done deal tomorrow. It would be really stupid to even let him test free agency or use the tag . 3 year deal. Get ur done Hickey.
