that Harrington will be our new starter vs. Houston? I hope not, yeah he should play well if he comes in but Culpepper has more talent and he will play well this weekend. he is in a slump but will come out in this game. let him play, if he struggles which he won't but if he does than bring in Harrington at halftime. it's a rumor on SI and was reported by palm beach post

saban will ride dc till his knee falls off....

I pray there is some truth to the rumor. Pep is hurting the team right now playing at 80% or whatever he is at. Until he gets healthy I think that Harrington would perform better.

I hope not because Harrington sucks and we will be worse off. I would start Lemon over Harrington if I had a choice. I have watched Joey play too many times to fall for that he switched teams and will play better now crap. Harrington wasnt bad because the Lions were bad The Lions were bad because Harrington is bad. The quarterback is the most important position on the field and Joey has already showed he will run a team into the ground.

I've looked all over the palm beach post and don't see this "rumor" anywhere - do you have a link please??

He has played 2 miserable defenses the last 2 games, hopefully he will pick up where he left off in '04

Don't see it happening as of yet.

If we continue to see no improvement in the coming weeks it will become a possible scenario. Not now though IMO.

:rolleyes2

Because Lemon clearly outplayed Harrington in the Preseason and all Lemon's starting NFL experience would just be crazy to ignore right?

He is no long term solution, I agree. However Pep is not ready to play. He holds the ball 2 long, can't read the defense and can't physically move to extend the play. I haven't seen Pep play enough to know if he has always done this but he doesn't anticipate the throw. He waits until the reciever is out of his break then determines whether or not to throw the ball. He will never be sucessful IMO if he doesn't trust the system. The problem is amplified behind our poor oline. We need a qb that will get the ball out. I don'e care who it is.

That "rumor" is simply a Palm Beach Post columnist giving his opinion what the Dolphins should have and should do. He is not reporting a rumor. Somebody at SI didn't read carefully.

The Dolphins need to go back to their original quarterback plan, which, by the way, was never put into practice. That would mean using Joey Harrington as their starter -- that's starter -- until Daunte Culpepper really, really, really is healthy enough to do the job.

Thats exactly what I figured this supposed rumor was, that's why I wanted him to link the story to write up exactly what you did. But figured maybe there was something I missed and he might have some inside info I'm not seeing in the Palm Beach Post.
