Anyone else worry we still only have 2 starting o-linemen?

Please, no even tell me that it's only the 3rd day of free agency. So what? What matters is that linemen are going and going. Collins was the last one now. We only have 2 real starters and I'm worry we're going to be left out. Am I overeacting?

After what happened last year and 58 sacks...we have every right to be overly concerned with the O-line...we can't go into the season weak there again.

If we don't make it happen now....were looking at the first two days of the draft being all O-line picks.
 
I think that there may be more confidence in Garner's versatility than expected... With that said, I am still not comfortable with him going in as an opening day starter if we don't need to. There's still a lot of time before the season begins though, we didn't even sign Clabo until after the draft last year. Obviously that didn't work out great for us, but it seemed like a solid move at the time. I'm sure it will all unfold before training camp.
 
We went through all of 2013 with only one starting offensive lineman:lol:

It's early. A lot is going to play out over the next few weeks of free agency and the draft.
 
Brennan can and did start competently at LG.

Garner can start in any other position.

We will see where Thomas is in his 2d season.

We still have months of FA and a draft to fill the other slots.

Patience.
 
Strief is available to play RT from Saints. Could sign Smith today. Zack Martin can play LT/LG/RG/RT. May also target Xavier Su'a-Filo or Brandon Thomas at guard in 2nd round

Clay is the only playmaker on offense
 
Its early but yea they need to get busy and fix it. I dont want to spend the whole draft on the oline and we need to see if tanny is the answer.
 
I wish we signed Collins. However, I think we get a RT or a guard in free agency still. I think if we sign one more and draft 1(to start( to go with Brenner garner as depth its a definite upgrade.
 
I won't worry unless we are in a similar predicament after the draft and most of free agency is behind. Any worrying before then is premature.
 
I'm very worried, we can't end up with the likes of Clabo again because we left it too late and equally as important leave ourselves in a position where we have to draft for need, we can't do that and hope to be successful.

Brennan graded out a (-9.5) in his 292 snaps...hardly competently. Garner is a backup.

We need 3 more starters...not the same crappy line we had last year.

Its not realistic to think we are going to draft 3 starters ready to step right in....we'll be lucky to get one ready to step right in out of the draft.

So we really need to find two more starters out there.
 
No I am not worried yet, I'm ok taking time to find good players with good contracts......now is the time to find bargains, the first few days you will over pay for a signing, we have plenty of time, if we are in June with the same issue then yes I will be worried.....we will definitely see some good Vets get cut because of age or coming off a injury when a team drafts well......I say be patient on the OL, CB and LB position
