Anyone think Mike Nolan deserves his share of blame?

Watching Brady run that no huddle last night was like playing someone in Madden who has never played the game before. You find a play that he is not properly defending and no huddle him all the way down the field.

Mike Nolan was that guy last night.

Defense looked absolutely lost When the Pats ran hurry up offense. Seemed like several times some of our DBs were looking around asking what to do. Caroll and Sapp were getting abused but it didn't seem like any adjustments were made to cover up those deficiencies. Our D got outplayed but I feel like Nolan got out coached as well. Anyone agree?

plenty of blame to go around. nolan gets a big chunk. and we may have a good and deep front seven. our secondary is not deep. we dont have enough talent in the secondary to field and nfl team. you need at least 6 good players back there. we have maybe 3 or 4. we are a couple short.

nolan didnt come up with a scheme to hide coverage and thats just unacceptable

This team was not prepared to match up with the Patriots, who did exactly what anyone who watched them last year could have predicted. But on top of that, the in-game management of substitutions was a disaster that the Pats took full advantage of, and the confusion between every play even when we weren't substituting was not a sign of a well-coached team.

That's the worst thing about all of this. EVERYONE knew exactly what they were going to do and yet we still didn't stop any of it. All you heard all week from the "experts" was about covering the TE's and the middle of the field. Brady could have called the play out loud from the los and it still worked.
I do believe Nolan will change things drastically.....we know he isn't stupid.

I keep hearing on other threads about Henne..."it's just one game, one game doesn't erase all the other bad ones"
Same goes for our D and Nolan, one bad game doesn't erase the dominant play by our D over the last 20 games!

not blaming mike nolan but the disguises our D should be doing. when brady seen man coverage it was quick slants and deep post and in/out routes when it was zone the receivers were finding the holes it also didnt help wake was getting held all night long last night even seen a play where he fell down and the guy jumped on his back so he couldn't get up how is that not holding? this is not wrestling.. all in all im not too concerned. offense looked good defense will play better. i think this was just the fire that needed to be lit to get these guys hungry

I couldn't help buy wonder why none of the players went down and "faked" a cramp to slow down the Patriots all night.

The offensive coordinator sucked as well. Where was Larry Johnson? Why didn't ANYONE spell Reggie Bush in the first half? Where were the two back sets? Why didn't LJ get the carries on the goal line up the middle against those two big *** DT's for the Pats? They can't go to Reggie Bush on EVERY freaking play or defenses will just scheme to take him out which they eventually did. Our coaching staff gets an F on this one, espcially since the Patsies used this exact offensive scheme during last years two meetings and we completely failed to prepare for it, or adjust for it in the second half.
