Apparently the Dolphins may be able to get a little something for Martin

I don't think we'll see this as a trend

Like i said we OWN HIS RIGHTS ,and he said HE WONT PLAY FOR MIAMI , so we dont have to have him around , just let him go home , stay in shape (in case a team comes calling) and if not we wont have to hear from him again , bottom line ...

I still don't think someone would trade for him and I think depending upon what the investigation found the league may set him free.

i just cant see it , because BOTH PARTIES WAS INVOLVED,<<<<<<<<<QUOTE >>>>>>>>> Schamel added: "Jonathan Martin sent text messages to Richie Incognito which included threats to send someone over to Richie Incognito's home with a 'tranquilizer gun and sandpaper condoms' to homosexually rape him. Jonathan Martin sent another that said he would 'kill (Richies’s) whole family.' There was another where Jonathan Martin indicated he would ejaculate in Richie’s face." IMO they will let the Miami Org handle what they want to do with both guys , and everyday this gose on , More and More is coming out on Martin , and i see the league letting Miami handle it in there own way when all is said and done ....

IMO i can see a couple of teams offering us up a 3rd for Martin , jim harbaugh was his coach at stanford , and he knows ALL ABOUT Martin ,but noway the league is going to step in and cut a player when he was just as Guilty as the other party ,i see the league letting The Dolphins organisation handling it in there own way after the truth comes out on BOTH GUYS ....

no one is offering you a 3rd rd pick for him, if you get anything it would likely be a conditional late rd pick.

Well we can just hold him ,because noway would i give up a 2nd rd pick for a 6th or 7th rd pick , i guess he would just sit at home until we get what we want , its not like we have a gun to our head , and we have to trade him for a late pick , and the league isnt going to step in and make us release him after they get both sides of the story , we cant get a 3rd , then dont trade him , let him sit at home ..

I hear what your saying, but at some point Miami will want to put this whole situation behind them and holding onto troubled goods only prolongs the situation. I would take a late round pick and run with it. He played like a late round pick this year.

Martin is basically worthless. He may have a 2nd round pick, but was playing at a 7th round level before he quit on his team, invented an excuse as to why and set himself up for a lawsuit against the team and probably the league.
Miami won't get much if anything for Martin, they should take what they can get and be done with him. I see him being cut.
Someone else will give him a shot to play again but he will no doubt crash and burn there too

If Ireland lands somewhere I bet we can get a second rounder for him from that team.

Cut your losses and move on - he is worthless in the NFL - He lacks the "it" factor that so many athletes with demons refused to let go of

If we can get a 6th round draft pick for him, I'd take it. The other team gets value with upside but very high risk.

Sorry to hear that. Howzabout if we do not get a 4th rounder, you post a thread on how much better Tannehill is over Jets QB's (including Sanchise), and if we do not get a 4th, I post a thread on how much better the Jets QB's are than RT (including Sanchise).

It would be a very tuff task for me but, I believe I can spin it. LOL

IF there is a more complicated trade on trading up or a next year's pick, we let the forum decide who won.

southbeach: get that thread fired up.:D

Dude seriously thought we were going to get a 4th for this bum? We basically got the nothingest nothing you could get for him. Conditional 7th from a powerhouse team where he might not even make the roster.
