I would be skeptical of ANY time reported by a player's school, including that honorable institution known as FSU. :)
I was kind of hoping for a link from some unbiased source regarding Randy Moss' alleged 4.25 40.

Supposedly Moss ran a sub 4.3 with the patriots but i'm skeptical of anything without an electronic clock attached to it. Track and field has come out and said that they feel most of the 40 times are inaccurate that have been sited with times in the 4.2's. I actually believe Moss and Ginn would be handtimed at about 4.25 but in reality that would be about a tenth of a second off at least. I know at a nike camp Ginn was timed at 4.3 and an army camp at 4.4.
probably handtimed though.
