for one of their first round picks (which I don't think will happen). who would you want to use that pick on?

As much as I wish that would work, it would still definitely take a lot more than that to move up that high.

Aren't you people using your heads?

Look at this logically. Assume Denver ignores their greatest need - wide receiver - and instead chooses to trade a high draft pick for Ricky Williams, who would add depth to a backfield that needs none of it. Tatum Bell has, in two years, averaged 5.3 yards per carry while Mike Anderson still has some gas left in the tank. So anyway, assume Denver, beyond all reasoning, does this trade for their 22nd pick. Packaging the 16th and 22nd picks together gives a numerical value somewhere between the 4th and 5th picks when - big surprise - both Leinart and Young will likely be off the board.

i would proclaim saban the best coach in the nfl if he can manuver that. we would have ronnie brown AND matt lienart?! that makes my skin tingle.

we would probably have to throw in a third rounder with 2 firsts for Leinart. Or our 2 second rounders and our first whatever the case is.

Their big problem in the playoffs was they had a very hard time running the ball. Maybe they are looking for that back with something special......

Anyways we wont get a first...we'll get their second at the best....

Denvers biggest need is WR? Thats news to me.
What if we threw in a 3rd rounder too? Our two 1 rounders and a third...Or Our 1st rounde and two seconds, whatever the case is. Sounds like a fair deal

I think this would be the only reason Saban would mak the deal.

They ran well enough against New England, but not against Pittsburgh. However, Pittsburgh did a good job stopping Cincinnati and Indianapolis, so give them some credit there as well.

We have 2 second round picks???

If that's not their biggest need, then what is?

via the Ricky deal. it is a hypothetical statement. either a low 1st or their second whatever the case is, we would have two of one or the other.
