At least 3 UDFAs make the team

Anthony Johnson is beast i hope the dolphins keep him.

I don't see Francis making the team. I think Anthony Johnson has tore it up.

I wouldn't mind that...Francis is solid, but nothing special. In think Johnson has better potential...

I think you need to do a little research on where Dion Jordan is. Or isn't in this case. Wasted pick.

If you put Dion Jordan on the practice squad he would be on another team before you could respond to this post. If you don't want him on the team wouldn't it be better to trade him?

If Jordan really is this bad, I just wonder what the heck the staff did to screw up a guy who got to the QB last year but had trouble getting him down due to the shoulder and who ran stride for stride with Gronkowski when they actually let him be a little bit of an LB. It's one thing if someone never had any talent, but he seemed to show talent last year and just seemed limited by his weak points in getting on the field behind the guys we had and by his shoulder injury on which his poor finishing of plays he get in position to make through his physical skill.

Last year reminded me of Vernon Carey when he was drafted. He looked solid on field as a rookie and unlike Jordan didn't have studs ahead of him, but for whatever reason he got in the doghouse and was kept off the field. When we had a regime change he got a chance on the field and ran with it (well, as much as a guy like him could run with anything). We know why Jordan is in the doghouse but it maybe he will shine under different circumstances.

Because there are better players on the DLine. For instance, Fede >> Jordan.

You don't try to put a 1st round pick on a practice squad in his 2nd year. That would be a wasted pick because he would never make it to the practice squad. You give him until year 3 or you trade him if you don't think he will be the guy you need. Jordan has talent. They just need to figure out how to use him. (LB maybe?) The guy is a freak athlete, just hasn't shown it in the NFL yet.

Yes, it would. I was trying to be funny for effect. Jordan just isn't showing me much at DE. It appears he bulked up (chemically induced?) in the off season to better play DE in the NFL, a position he was not built for. Perhaps Oregon knew what they were doing with him better than we do.

Hopefully he can figure it out and become the player we all want him to be.
