It's the day before training camp. A fresh sheet of paper. Time for you people to make some predictions.

No explanations, no excuses, one answer per question. Let's hear it.

Predictions:

1) Regular season record

2) Starting QB on the last day of regular season

3) ONE player with the biggest breakout season

4) Top performing rookie by season end

5) Defense ranking at regular season end

6) Offense ranking at regular season end

HAVE AT IT!

My predictions:
1) 10-6
2) David Garrard
3) Jared Odrick
4) Jonathan Martin
5) 6th in NFL
6) 13th in NFL

Good lord, man, can we get through preseason first? LOL

Nope. We can ask the question again before the regular season starts. This thread is about what people predict BEFORE training starts. Don't be nervous, nerfball, it's only your reputation!

ok fair enough...but the questions are kind of lame...need more juice

1) 8-8. Defense keeps us in a lot of games but the offense just isn't there yet.

2) Matt Moore. I think Garrard is the week one starter but he's too much of an injury concern for me.

3) Reshad Jones. Kid is a football player with big play ability. Just needs to show it.

4) Jonathan Martin. He's the right blend of size and athleticism for Philbin's scheme.

5) 7th in defense.

6) 23rd in offense.

here you go...

david garrard ends the 2012 season on ir and plays in less than 8 games...
ryan tannehill starts at least 6 games in 2012...
olivier vernon provides the most impact of the draft class...
jonathon martin struggles at right tackle if he gets the nod as the starter from week 1
charles clay puts together a break out campaign to the tune of 700 plus yards and 5 plus tds...
chad johnson proves more bark than bite...
brian hartline fails to impress when given a starting wr job
mike pouncey plays center at a pro bowl level...
reggie bush plays in less than 12 games and ends the season on ir...
miami continues to have problems in goalline at punching the ball in with the running game...no back steps up and takes over the roll
reshad jones leads the team in ints...
michael egnew proves the bust of the early round picks...
karlos dansby plays a almost pro bowl worthy 43 mike backer...
koa misi is not an eye sore as a starting 43 will...plays solid enough we don't go into next season thinking we must replace him...
the front 7 on d is the #1 strength of the team...
the wr core is the #1 weakness...
jared odrick provides 8 sacks as a starting 43 end...
came wake ends the season with double digit sacks again if he stays healthy...

couple more...

if/when reggie bush goes down lamar miller breaks out...
surprise camp cut...tony mcdaniel...too much money not enough impact
sean smith continues to underwhelm as a starting boundary cb

1) 8-8 (I'm saying 8-8 because I simply have no idea what to expect from them this season so 50/50 sounds about right lol)

2) Garrard (He has the most experience and is a former pro bowler... barring injury he's the guys I expected to win the job all along)

3) Jared Odrick (He's already shown flashes and I think it's time for him to break out, another guy I really think could have an impact is Jimmy Wilson if he gets enough playing time, I think Wilson was out of position last season and was made to be a safety)

4) Lamar Miller (I just have a sneaky suspicion that he will get more playing time than originally planned(injuries) and will have a nice season)

5) 10th (I actually think they may be a little better on D this year but with the fast paced offense the phins will be running the D will probably be on the field more which will lead to the worse ranking)

6) 15th (Middle of the pack, which will be an improvement)

-10-6
-Garrard starts Moore finishes
-jimmy wilson
-jonathon Martin
-6th in total D
-18 in total O
STAMP IT!!
