b/c its all a popularity contest....they could go undefeated and not make it to the NC game....like when Alex Smith was with Utah and just like a few years ago when Auburn went undefeated with Jason Cambell, Ronnie Brown, and Cadilac Williams....Louisville will be the most underrated

Underrated? They're ranked 6th in the nation in th Coaches Preseason Poll and one of the favorites to win the SEC. What more do you want???

EXACTLY. The ONE thing the BCS has right is it does not come out until like week 8 or 9. It should be the exact same with the polls. That would have definitely made 04 real interesting. Then you could not say OU and USC should be 1 and 2 just because they started the season there. IF anything that year, Auburn would have had a much stronger argument going undefeated from a strong SEC.
