OK,

So everyone has been hating on the OLINE and how the running game sucks because of it. Coincidently, back in 2002, after we traded for Ricky Williams....from New Orleans....that was an injury plagued outcast.....we heard the same crap about the ONLINE sucking and never being able to run the ball....and the PRESEASON was showing this to be true.....Ricky Williams had 30 carries for only 83 yards which led to an atrocious 2.76 yards per carry.

HOWEVER.........that same year in the Regular Season...which is what really matters...Ricky Williams ended up with over 1,800 yards and 16 TDs......

Hopefully this will hold true and Reggie Bush....another player from New Orleans.......that was an injury plagued outcast...with a crappy YPC at 3.6 this preseason, will at least do about 75% of what Ricky did in the Regular Season......where it really matters.

Oh and I think Chad Henne is better than the two douche-clown QBs Jay Fiedler and Ray Lucas that we had in 2002.

I hope that turns out alot better than that season did...DAMN YOU BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!

Fiedler had the 2nd highest QB rating in the league before he went down after the Broncos game. That Dolphins team at 5-1 was probably the strongest in the league at that point in the year. It's a shame Jay wasn't the same after that thumb injury.

Ricky was a 1,000 yd rusher in NO, Bush has not been close.

I think that was the precursor to the downfall that we had later especially missing the playoffs in 2003 which IMO was the strongest team that we had during that time. We really should have held onto Jim Bates after that debacle in 2004, the players loved him and wanted to play for him.

The Denver game that year was one of my favorite games of all time, but it came at a hell of a price. Chambers got knocked out cold by Kenoy Kennedy that night, Fiedler broke his thumb, and I think that was the game Gadsden got messed up in too.

We just weren't the same.

I really don't get you. Why do post here? I hate the Jets enough that I have no desire to visit a Jets message board.

I can actual discuss issues about teams I dislike w/o it affecting me. Thank you for asking.

Jamie Nails also came out and dominated that year. He was a beast. Todd Wade was pretty good as were Ruddy and Dixon. They didn't have a Jake Long, but they were a better overall offensive line.

Not sure why you are even commenting on my post, so for the hell of it, I will just go ahead and say that Reggie Bush is better than Shonn Greene....who most Jets fans think is the next Curtis Martin....Greene is the most overrated RB in the league.....who hasn't even had a run longer than 33 yards ever in his career......every time someone drafts him in rounds 2-3 in Fantasy Football, I laugh.....

In Junc's defense, I think we all know that Ricky is on an entirely different level than Reggie

Junc is just mad reminiscing the times ricky williams destroyed his DB with that stiff arm! lol.

everyone knows Bush is better than Greene.

compare number of carries in new orleans

There's a reason Reggie didn't get a ton of carries, as his carries went up his production went down and he couldn't stay healthy.
