According to ESPN the chiefs will not be resting their players. Actually they are saying they will be looking to make a statement that they are for real cause they got beat on by the colts pretty bad. This does seem to be a good assessment and likely will be the case. This sucks :(
 
Oh well! Our Dolphins should have handled their business. So that whatever other teams do doesn't matter.
 
I'd love to see us get in, but no one else to blame if we don't. Let's stomp the Jets and hope for the best.

I'm going to say that's a load of BS. You're most worried about making a statement in week 17 than protecting your started for the playoffs?? A win or loss does nothing for you. It would be better to fly under the radar and let a team think you're not very good. AHEM…..Miami…..AHEM…..Buffalo.
 
Just beat the Jets. I think Cincy is going to take care of business. They know that if they win, and by some chance the Bills knock off the Pats in the 4:00 game, they take the #2 seed, and a first round bye. Chiefs game is a non factor at that point.
 
We are in if we win and Ravens and Chargers lose right? If that is the case that seems to me the scenario we should be cheering for. Not to tie with them.
 
Shifty, if all all three teams win we are in. If Fins and Baltimore win, we need SD to win, three way tie, to get in. Two way tie between us and tacky purple, we would not be in.

It's we win and the Ravens loose or we win and the Chargers win!

Both scenarios get us in. If the Ravens loose we have the better record. If the Ravens win and the Chargers win too there is a 3-way tie and the conference record will decide this. And for that we would be in too!

If we win but the Ravens win and the Chargers loose, we are out.

But either way we have to win first...
 
i dont believe it comes down to this game anyways, as i expect us to win and the ravens to lose.

However, we only have ourselves to blame if it does come down to that, because we controlled our own destiny and failed to take advantage of that.

also, the chargers beat the chiefs in kc with all there starters, and lets be real, its not like kc has aaron rodgers or tom brady as there qb and they r downgrading, i feel that kc can still win a game with there reserves as they will prob play harder if anything knowing this is there one chance to make a name for themselves.

either way, most likely we have clinched by 4 pm and if not, i would be surprised.
 
If he starts Jamaal Charles, he is a moron. That is all. Charles should not even be on the team flight.
 
Meh SD already beat the Chiefs on the road with KC playing their starters. This game is in SD So they have a pretty good shot at beating KC with or without their starters. Just worry about the jets.

If you're going to concern yourself with anything at all with this game you should be more worried that the only scenario in which they could help us (both us and the Ravens win) would mean the Chargers have nothing to play for.
