Baldy's break down of Tua for preseason raiders game

Why does every positive Tua post have to end with "this will show the haters"? I feel like kindergarden in here. It's ok to have a different opinion, even if it's not the same as yours. I for one think Tua has shown nothing so far to make me believe he's the real deal. One awesome pass won't change that. At the same time one terrible interception will not make me scream "cut his ass". He's our starter this year, I have my doubts but I'm ok if you believe he's going to take us to the promised land.

Tua was ok nothing spectacular. With that said when opportunities present themselves he must take advantage of throwing ball downfield. Go back to the 2nd play on the pass to Edmunds it was good but Cedrick Wilson #11 was open downfield, it’s these types of plays he needs to make if he really wants to nake a big leap this year, that pass is another 15 to 20 yards easy. Watch from 9 second mark to 28 second mark a play is there to be made to #11

All QBs will miss opportunities from time to time. It's early yet. Even when our roster is finalized, it will take some time to gel. McDaniel has stated several times that the goal is for us to learn and improve as the season goes on with us playing our best in January.

It’s Monday morning and they still haven’t posted the game on NFLN. But from the clips I’ve seen, it looks like our pass pro has potential for massive improvement. Even going from unacceptable (which it was) to average would be a huge jump up.

True but as I mentioned this how he makes his leap this year. He has to push the ball down field consistently.

Not sure if I see a clear window for a deeper throw. I see no problem with the way the play developed and how it finished.

Maybe Tua was sabotaged by the wizard of NFL offense, Flores.

His Alabama days will show in this offense.
