Barry Jackson Gives a Critical Look at the Coaching Staff

Did RT actually say anything about Sherman?

It was reported that Ryan Tannehill privately expressed 'doubts' and had 'lost confidence' in Mike Sherman, or something to that effect. He never refuted that report. He could have, but he didn't.

IMO, he should have. Just like I wasn't a fan of Wallace and Pouncey calling out the coordinator, just like I wasn't a fan of McKinnie calling out the staff for a couple of things, Ryan Tannehill should have at least come out and refuted that. It's one thing if it gets said behind closed doors and some asshole runs to a reporter with it, but you need to put out that fire.

While is everyone is busy taking shots at Philbin and his staff, let me point out something they have excelled at: discipline. The Dolphins led the league in fewest penalties committed with 69 (also among the least penalized were New England, Indy and Carolina).

Teams with few penalties often also show a lack of aggression in their play. Wilt Chamberlain very rarely fouled out of basketball games because he lacked aggression on the defensive end of the floor. Bill Russell had the aggression and owned the bigger/stronger Chamberlain. Give me a team that makes aggressive mistakes over a team that lacks aggression any day of the week.
