At this point losing Soliai is a given. We're transitioning to a 4-3, and Langford would be much better fit for the new defense going forward than Big Paul.

last year i didnt see him on the 2011 leader list which went down to 5 drops on this list.

so im not seeing the slew of dropped passes and too many fumbles. if anything his 18 tds in 4 years clearly makes up for the 2 fumbles and a handful of dropped passes.

so true lol. thanks for providing the facts. i dont get where these ppl get this CRAP. guy has made some great catches. and was very good with penny at the helm. also came on this season in teh second half. the way philbin described his ideal tight end it did sound like fasano, as he said his primary and first focus is being able to block well by himself.

philbin also mentioned that he would like to line clay up as TE, full back, "next play next to the tight end" so he doesnt see clay as the #1. i personally like fasano, and feel we need to fill much bigger holes. i think fasano suffers from bad coaching, schemes, lack of qb play, and maybe, dare i say it, a little "jordy nelson" type stereo-typing. if you catch my drift.

omar kelly seems obsessed with the Tight end position and has been over-blowing one single sentence ireland said about Tight Ends after prompted by kelly. we may go for a Tight End or project, but i wouldnt count on cutting fasano like everyone is saying.

what is freeing up players in schemes?

clay good.

btw - i love clay and think he will be a very good #2 tight end. i think we see how Fasano does this year and how clay develops and then assess the position next year. fasano may retire a dolphin at this point.
 
Then you don't understand how inportant he is to the team. or you just blog for no reason man clay is a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
