bradys stat drop is more from having horrible WRs outside of welker, who is in no way a true number one. The WRs on the outside being horrible really effect deeper passing plays.

Tell me how they've improved that for this upcoming season? And when you're running two TE sets most of the time and the focus is on Gronkowski and Welker someone should be running free deep. I'm pretty sure either ESPN or NFLN did a study on his passes and there were receivers running open deep he just didn't throw the pass opting for the safer shorter pass. Through 6 games last year he had attempted 28 passes of 25+ yards and completed 9 of them with 2 TDs and 2 INTs, that's almost 5 per game but in the last 10 games he only had 44 more attempts of 25+ yards...72 attempts total on the season of his 611 pass attempts went 25+ in the air...less than 12% of his passes.

This was also a reason Randy Moss had his little fit of rage the year before because he wanted to run deeper routes and Brady didn't throw many deep passes any more.

Certainly is possible... Possibly flip flop buffalo and Jets since Buffalo will have a better defense and have better RB's.

Buf will have a better D and Miami will be 10-6

But if I had to guess, I would say that we may end up third with the Jets falling behind us. On paper at least, Buffalo is looking to improve their defense a lot. The question for the is WR/QB...

For the Jets...Sanchez just sucks...the sooner they realize this the better they will be in the long run. Hopefully, the continue to believe he is a franchise QB for the next 10 years...

Until further notice, the Bills are the 4th team in the division. I think they are being greatly overrated this offseason. I understand they signed Mario Williams, but they suddenly didn't become a playoff team because of it. They have probably the worst head coach in the division, even though Philbin hash't proven anything. Bills are improved, but a 10+ win team? No way, their ceiling is 8 wins in my opinion.

Dolphins are probably an 8 or 9 win team this season. Jets are probably hovering around the same number, but if any team collapses and wins something like 4 or 5 games, it is the Jets.

The Bills defense is the best and the pats are the worst and 2nd and 3rd are going to be decided between the fins and jets. I think the fins will be better when they NEED a stop and the jets will have slight statistical advantage due to the fact that there they are going to play so many low scoring games. Playing a slow down game makes your defense look better because both teams run fewer plays. Add to that Spranos influence and you won't be scoring many points this year. So teams that get out ahead of you are going to be running the clock rather than trying to score.

If you really think you have the defense that you used to have a couple of years ago, you truly are delusional.

when has Miami been better when they need a stop? I can't remember that far back. when has a Miami D last stepped up in a big game? when didthey last play in a big game? Don't be confused b/c your D played "well" after the season was lost last year.

I think our D will be significantly better this year w/ the additions of Coples, the safeties and the return of Bryan Thomas along w/ a slimmed down Bart Scott and most importantly Rex will be calling the defense again. Will it be as good as '09? probably not but it will be much better than 2011 where it was simialr to Miami's D.

The Only team that is certain not to finish last is the Patriots, the other 3 could end up in any one of the final three positions. All three will have their good points and bad points.

Of the three teams, the one with the best chance not to see the basement is the Bills with a much better front four on defense to go along with possibly the 2nd best offense in ther AFC east.

With the Jets being the best possibility at the basement with no real running game (even though their offense this year will rely more on the running game), the 4th worst starting QB in the AFC East, a backup QB that will become an even bigger distraction if Sanchez starts losing early, receivers that will flip out if they don't see the ball quite a bit every game (even though again with Sparano it will become a much more run first offense), and still no real pass rush without the blitz. The Jets are going to be a mess this year, and will probably be hoping the Dolphins or Bills can be even bigger messes to help them save face.

Miami is the enigma of the 3, could fall badly on their face or could surprise even the most optimist Dolphin fan.

Im saying that tongue in cheek with extreme exaggeration, but in all reality the Pats are a great team and the rest of the division really blows. I think that the Bills will be slightly better than they were last year (unless they get ravaged by injuries again) the Jets are going to collapse because they can't move the football, Sanchez is a turnover machine, and Tony Sparano is an abysmal football coach, and we're terrible because we still have no quarterback, no weapons on offense, a below average pass D and no pass rushers at all besides Wake... So yeah, I was joking but kinda not really...
