Bell is choosing between Phins, Bills, Chiefs

If we sign him today, he will definitely play Sunday and will probably get a touchdown.

It will and almost always does come down to money... I do not want to be the highest bidder

I'm sure Stephen Ross has a friendly rivalry with Jets owner Woody "A$$sclown" Johnson (and his kids).

He is probably telling Grier to do whatever it takes to get Bell, so we can show them what a joke they are, what a mistake it was to sign our cast off (Gase), and what a real coaching staff can do with an elite player!

Dang! Sounds like bad intent!

I bet they're fairly aware of the very points you're highlighting!

Best to not revel in someone else's rotting corpse!

Could be bad football karma!

i really never get people's obsession with stephen ross's (or any owner's) money.

at all.

Why? What difference does it make to you? As long as it doesn't negatively impact our cap abilities going forward, and we don't have to give up any players or picks.
I mean, honestly, when had Miami paying top dollar for talent really ever panned out? It hasn't gotten them much in the way of wins or playoff appearances.

...isn't funny how everyone wants to protect billions of dollars they have ZERO interest in!

there must be a psychological condition for this obvious projection of billion dollar babies!

FWIW, on one of the Jets forums, the speculation is that he will sign with us for a number of reasons and the hope that if so, he puts up 150 yards to make Gase (who is now almost universally despised) look even worse.

Hey, while I have no vested interest in how Ross's $Billions are spent, however I am looking out for him.

i was commenting about being the highest bidder (as opposed to the second highest bidder, or fourth highest bidder), and the amount of money that is likely going to cost a team.

the merits of signing free agents in general is a whole 'nother conversation.
