Bengals' defense crumbles first time out

Westbrook can't carry Martin's jockstrap.

I agree with this, Westbrook has a ways to go to be in a class with Martin. 9 straight 1000 seasons and some of it was earned while he was hurt. That's impressive. I don't mind our O starting slow and hopefully coming on mid way through the season, that would be a pleasant change, hopefully we finish strong. If the 2nd half of the Tenn. game is any indication, we may be successful after all.

You would put Philly ahead of the Jets b/c they scored 31 against a WORSE team than we put 31 up against?
:roflmao:

This is the funniest thing I have read all day!! This guy is actually comparing the Jets offense to the Eagles offense. OMG that is funny. Wake up man......Wake up. :roflmao:

The Game Is Played On The Field At The End Of The Year We Will See Who Has The Better Team. :cooldude:

You know that? The Jets have one of the bets offenses in the NFL and it is far superior to yours. You guys will be able to score some points but don't expect to slice through them the way we did b/c you just don't have the players we have on O.
Why is it, that every year the jets win 1 game and they think they are going all the way. Your offense is not near as good as Philly's and when you play a good defense and you do good then talk. Until then, just hush and be a good little boy and go away.

Now I do agree that martin is better, but I think this year they are going to put up similar stats. westbrook is now the feature back in philly and with defenses concentrating on TO, i expect him to get some carries and to put up good numbers this year. he will be a 1000 yard back, no more 3-headed-monster. he has nowhere the resume of martin, but again im speaking on this year only. martin I think is past his prime but he is still a great back in the NFL whereas westbrook is still climbing.

I think 1100-1200 yards for both RB's this year. Jets passing attack this year will take the number of carries away from Martin and Westbrook will get more carries this year. I mean he had 600 what yards last year on a little above 100 carries and averaged 5.2 ypc. I dont think its that far fetched to say this year they will have comparable stats.

:roflmao: one of the best? Do you consider being in the top 25 as one of the best? There's plenty of teams I'd take over the Jets offense. Minnesota,Indy,Seattle, St. Louis. Denver, philly, KC, NE, even the Saints are way better then the Jets offense. You're kidding yourself if you think the Jets have a good offense.

There's no doubt about it

As it stands now the Jets offense is better than ours. Head and shoulders better.

OC--Jets, even though their OC looks good only when Chad is in there.
QB-- Jets hands down, no caomparison.
RB-- Jets hands down, no caomparison
OL-- Jets, better, but our o-line may have more upside
WR-- Dolphins I'd take MB, CC, DT, and BG over SM, JM, and WC anyday.
TE--Miami, RM and DL nuff said.
FB-- Jets, I like Konrad but he's always hurt Soward insn't :shakeno:

They're clearly better in 5out of 7 categories on offense. The only saving grace Miami has is, Feely is still unkown, so he has the "Pontential to be special" Our o-line is young and hasn't had much time to get, but they'll be extremely dominant with a little time. And Lamar Gordon showed flashes with little experience in our offenes, so the skies the limit. And Forester is also an unknown so he can either bust out or just bust... depending on how all of these questions play out, we can have a very potent offense, however, the Jets clearly have the better Qb and that makes all the difference in the world.

the o-line is the difference... mawae is the best center in football and kareem mckenzie is underrated~

To say the Jets offense is not in the upper echelon of the league is foolish.
I mean really, Top 10 QB, one of the best backs in the last 2 decades who just proved he has more than a little gas left in the tank, 1 great WR (Moss), 1 good WR (McCareins), one vetern key 3rd down receiver (Chrebet), and one of the best Olines in football. (Fabini-Kendall-Mawae-Moore-McKenzie)

If you think that's comparable to a team that has holes at QB, RB, and Oline you delude yourself.

Help me out here Icer I remember watching a game last year (jets) where pennington gave up like 5 picks what game was that ?? NE ?? I like chad and yes Curtis showed some life the jets O is probably right at about #10 in the league but it has some flaws.

i like Chad

He has all the makings of being another Tom Brady with his pocket awareness, accuracy and poise, however Chad needs to play a full season before we start canonizing him.

You say youve got 1 great WR eh? well we,ve got 2 pro bowl CB's and 1 future pro bowler rookie CB!! hmmm which one ya want covering him?

You do? Please explain to me how your O is anywhere near ours.

Pennington > Feeley

Martin > Gordon (but Gordon will probably be better than Martin by end of season)

Moss + McCareins < Chambers + Booker

Becht < McMichael (BY A LOT)

Jets o-line > Dolphins o-line
