Just a bit of fun guys. Who would make up your best ever secondary? Here`s mine;

Ronnie Lott - safety
Steve Atwater - safety
Deion Sanders - corner
Darrel Green - corner

What do you think?

Thats not bad at all. The two corners that played for the Raiders back along were good together. Was it Haynes and Hayes?
 
Hard to say because there have been many great cbs and S in the span of the NFL history... but I can tell you who wouldn't make my best secondary.....

John Lynch-Safety
Troy Vincent-CB
Pat Surtain-CB
 
How about a real one:

CB -- Everson Walls
CB -- Dennis Thurman
S -- Dextor Clinkscale
S -- Michael Downs
NB -- Ron Fellows

They combined for 21 INTs in 1984.
 
My present would be...

CB- Pat Surtain (Still a great corner, love the guy)
CB - Champ Bailey (People say he's overrated, but the guy makes plays)
FS- Ed Reed (Been hurt this year, but is dominant when healthy)
SS- Adrian Wilson (Under the radar in Zona, he's a GREAT safety though)

Be prepared to get beat deep. RW and JL great hitting safeties that can support run..however as ball hawks, not so good. Very similar to Sean Taylor and Rodney Harrison...anything underneath, crosses theyre deadly...over the top--so so.

Agreed, but wouldn`t my choice of Lott and Atwater have the same problem?

I forgot about Dennis Smith. He was a hell of a player. Too bad he never got a ring. I`d still take Atwater though.
