Best football Stadium?

Has anyone been to Detroit's newish stadium?? It looks pretty swank in pictures and stuff...just wondering if anyone's actually been.

ive only been to one nfl stadium and that ralph wilson so i cant judge, as for college there are many great ones, i would say the carrier dome in syracue is great to watch the game but the fans only fill that up for basketball and they fill it up quite a bit, for football it seems to be empty alot but i havint been to many other stadiums so hard to judge

Yeah Seahawks stadium is very nice with it being so covered and all and also the stadium actually goes almost vertical so even the bad seats look like they are very good and the seats get right up to the fields edge and its nice to look out the side and see the water and the ships. I hate the seachickens but the stadium owns!

Hey Dolfans!

Being from England, I have never had the chance to go to a live football game, so my question to you is which stadium is the best to go and watch a live football game. It can be the best atmosphere or best fans or best layout and why?

College?

NFL?

If you're a finfan, you have to go to Miami. The fans aren't all that, depending on whether the team is winning, finfans may not show up so you can't be sure about atmosphere.Bills, packers and Pats home games will always have a great atmosphere. It's the closest thing you have to your football games in England without the mass riots. There will be a few small fights here and there but no one get killed like you guys get in England.

The stadium sucks.

I would still pick Miami only because of So. Beach. If you're coming all the way from England, might as well see the sights and party.

The Ralph in Buffalo is a great place toi watch the games...

The new stadium in Cincy is great too, They have these huge party decks on the corners, you can watch the games from there. If you buy the cheapest seat in the house, you can sit and watch from the deck and see way better.

The Horseshoe in Columbus is one of the most intimidating places to play, and its wicked loud.

While I love Dolphins stadium, I saw 2 games live last year-Bucs vs. Saints at Raymond James, and Dolphins vs. Ravens at M & T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Raymond James is nice, but M & T was awesome. I was Dolphins head to toe so I took some good natured ribbing from the Ravens fans, but a great experience. My seats were in the end zone where Welker scored on the punt return, and I was screaming my head off! Once he scored, the Ravens fans were congratulating me, and I did the same when Ed Reed picked off Sage and returned it to the 1 yard line. Had a great day and a great experience. My fiancee has already secured tickets for the Dec. 19th Monday night game so we will get to see the Ravens play the Packers. I love that stadium and the Ravens fans-some of the NFL's best.

For atmosphere I've never seen pro games compare to the top college programs. (Although I've never been to Lambeau). If you get the chance I'd recommend a college game at one of the schools where it always sells out. You can always pick up some tickets from students. I wouldn't recommend a University of Miami game. That place almost feels like a commuter school. I'd go to a Michigan, Ohio State, LSU. UF (actually any of the SEC schools would probably work).

It does not matter that much for football games.
Baseball stadiums have much more personallity than football stadiams.

I have been to a few in both Football and in Baseball.
I see the Fins play once a year, last year was at Seattle, So I would say Seattle was fun.

Baseball I would say...In no order...Pittsburgh, Wrigley, Camden Yards and off course Yankee Stadium. ( I will be going to see the Yanks at the Jake in Cleve in 2 weeks )
Football games do not have the same feel. It could be that most of the times the weather is not that good.

Baseball Parks feel unique cuz they dont have set field size.

Ofcourse Football games dont have the same feel, i cant imagine taking a nap during an NFL game.

Buffalo has a really similar feel to the college atmosphere.

But Ohio State tailgates are awsome, I go down there every saturday (even without tickets, although I have seasons again this year) its too fun.

Stadium

I would say that Soldier Field is pretty cool!! Also...the new Cardinals stadium currently under way here in Az, is going to be kick-a**!!! :woowoo:

Not ours. :( A friend of mine (Buccs fan) told me that Tampa has an excellent stadium, I wouldn't know because i've never been to a game outside of Dolphins Stadium. I'm moving soon, my father and I want to fly out to one of our rival teams stadiums for a game so hopefully we will do that. I'd like to see how nasty the Bills fans really are in their house. Hopefully it will be this year if not, i'll get to a game at the Ralph at some point in my life.

Well first u wanna travel to the great state of Oklahoma and go see a Oklahoma Sooner game. Memorial Stadium is an awesome place! Boomer Sooner :goof:

im not a michigan fan, but the big house is electric. It is unlike anyother atmosphere I have experienced college or pro.

Soldier Field is probably the most unique looking stadium there is now.
