Best Miami QB since Marino?

Jay Fielder of course.

Sad thing is even if the Dolphins had passed on Fletcher and taken Brees he wouldn't be playing for us now. He would have been killed behind this OL and the conservative offense and run out of town by the fanbase by now.

Trent Green? Are you kidding?
Green is the most under rated QB in the league. He gets no publicity, but he has excellent accuracy and moves his team. How can you even mention Fiedler in the same sentence.
I would take him over 3/4 of the QB's in the league including McNabb and Vick.

Personally I think it was Griese. True he didn't shine when he was here, but he's currently doing better than crappy in Tampa. He could have developed with us maybe not as the long term answer but better than what we have now.

Brian Griese is easily the best QB we've had here since Marino. Leave it to Wannstedt to let the good one go.

I agree with the first sentence.

I am starting a rent-a-qb service, I am recruiting all the 13-14 yr old pop warner state championship qbs. I figure they cant be as bad as what we have seen at qb since Dan.

Yeah as it turns out Brian may be. Course he didnt show it here. Yeap line played a major part in that, but he did force the ball alot.

yeh but also Griese's work ethic was poor in Miami,which is alot of the reason we got him in the first place,he has a history of not putting in 100 % effort. Which doesn't seem to be a problem for him now in TB.

Well, I think that says a lot about Wannstedt also. The team and players had a serious lack of discipline when he was around.
 
there's two different spins to this question...

was it meant to ask

1) who is the best QB that has been on a dolphins roster since Marino?

or

2) who has been the best QB for the dolphins since Marino?

if it's 1, the answer clearly would be Griese. If it's 2, the answer would be Fiedler.

we have had bad, yes, but not the worst, that belongs to chicago.....

why not put the best QB since marino the only QB that has been on the team since marino.........sage rosenfels
 
just a thought...for future reference remember the name Erik Ainge. Hes a soph at Tennessee now 6-6 tall and has a elway arm...runs an offense like brady.
