1. Miami 1554 rush yds allowed, 47 sacks

1. Buffalo (benefit of the doubt)
2. Miami (Zach, Junior..)
3. NY
4. NE
Best secondary
1. Miami 2nd least yds allowed, by far #1 in INT's

3. Buff #1 yds allowed last in INT's
4. 4th yds allowed 3rd in INT's
Best Backfield
1. Bills (because of depth)
2. Miami
3. Jets
3. NE
best receiver corp (Include TE here)
1. Buff Very questionable due to loss of Price will base it on potential of Reed
2. Pats
3. Miami
4. Jets
Best QB the seperation in rating between 2,3 and 4 is minimal. adding complexity is the relative strnegth of the o-lines and injuries. Based on numbers though...

1. Jets over 100 qb rating
2. Buffalo 86 rating
3. Pats 85.7 rating
4. Miami 85.2 rating

Best coaching staff

1. Pats
2. Jets
3. Buff
4. Miami

Ofcourse much of this was absed on last years production and my opinion of this years pick ups and what they will bring to each team.
Facts and opinions to base our own power rankings by!!!!

come on with the buffalo has the worst o line though man.. gimme a break..

you totally are not accounting for how many passing yards and passing attempts those o lines blocked for. you based it on miami favorible stats.. as you guys ran so much because you couldnt pass half the year without jay. therefore both rushing yards are higher, and sacks are lower.

Best O-Line:
Bills
Jets
Fins
Pats

Best D-line
Fins
Jets - could be #1 if Robertson plays like #4 pick
Pats
Bills

Best LB:

Pats
Jets

Best QB:
Jets
Bills
Pats
Fins

Best WR:
Bills
Pats

fins

Best RB:
Fins
Jets- Martin was badly hobbled last year, year before 2nd in league in rushing, plus Jordan is best backup in league/ pushes them ahead Buffalo
Bills
Pats

Coaching:
Pats- Though league caught up to Weis last year
Jets- Edwards master motivator
Bills- Uh.. better than miami
Miami- Wannstedt is horrible in my opinion

Unbiased

Best O-line :chat: (based on pass blocking and run blocking!)
1. Bills
2. Miami (close second)
3. Pats
4. Jets

Best D-line :chat: (tough call. basing it on the draft, which doesnt mean a whole lot. i feel buffalo added a lot to their DL, but it is just paper right now, so i really dont know how to rate it. i have a feeling they may be second, but trying to be objective)
1. Miami
2. Jets
3. Bills
4. Pats

Best LB's :chat:
1a. Miami 1b. Buffalo (too close to call)
2a. Jets 2b. Patriots (again.. too close to call, definately a step down from the phins and bills, but not by much)

Best Secondary :chat: (includes the safeties)
1. Miami
2. Pats
3. Bills (second based on corners, but pats move up because of law and safeties combined)
4. Jets

Best Backfield :chat: (includes depth, the top three teams have great depth. the pats dont even have starting quality rb)
1a. Miami 1b. Bills 1c. NYJ
4. Patriots

Best Receiver Corp :chat: (very tough call. i like buffalo's group. i think the jets will be just as good with conway. i am not convinced that thompson will bring any more than gadsen or if chambers is real. tough to base it on last year with lucas in there and chambers being loopy for a while, but they get credit for having a good TE.. at least for the first part of the year, he was very exciting... pats have all tiny WRs.. and brown is getting older)
1. Bills
2. Jets
3. Miami
4. Pats

Best QB :chat:
1. Jets (based purely on my personal opinion of Pennington.. he is gonna be a very very very good one imho. i would take him over bledsoe right now.)
2. Bills
3. Miami
4. Brady (o v e r r a t e d)

Best Coaching Staff :chat: (based on GMs too)
1. Pats
2a. Jets 2b. Bills (bills move up because of gm, Jets move down because of gm)
4. Miami (solid gm, don't like the coach, but don't like the coach or your scouting department.. i dont know how much of that your gm has to do with)

Based on sacks per attempts

455 att 25 sacks 1 sack every 18.2 att Miami
612 att 54 sacks 1 sack every 11.33 att Buff
605 att 34 sacks 1 sack every 17.7 att New England
485 att 32 sacks 1 sack every 16.1 attempts

Miami and NE are neck and neck in sacks allowed per attempt but Miami had the ray Lucas Factor who got sacked as many times as Jay in 4 less games. Also consider the running production with miami v ne ..
ray lucus was sacked 1 time every 13 passes..
jay was sacked 1 time every 22 passes.

ok, but look at the type of passing they did.. all miami and new england did was dink and dunk it to rbs and tes and short passes to wrs..

drew sat back and ****ed the cannon and chucked it down the field all year. he also holds the ball too long sometimes, which i dont blame on our OL.. not to mention that the line was so young last year. i feel as good about buffalos OL as any other position on the team (as do alot of others, looking at the rankings).. i just think the numbers are deceiving in this case.. thats all.

Agreed. Its just an opinon..Mine is based on stats thats all. Last years no less.

I just dont know how great the learning curve is between yr 1 and 2 on the O line..So i am a sceptic.

well..

jennings - 3rd year, second at LT
brown - probowler
teague - 6th year, 2nd at center
sullivan - 3rd year, 2nd at RG
mike williams - 2nd year

so i think it is just a chemistry issue really.. they guys have been around now for 3 years on average, and williams is just a beast and WILL be better, like he was by seasons end. but the line is completely in tact and exactly the same.. i think that will help tremendously..

but thanks for your honest response. that is just my opinion.. and yours and mine obviously dont have to match.. or it would be no fun :D

I don't understand how anyone can say we don't have the best backfield. Not only do we have the best RB in the division, but we also have the best FB and very good depth at RB. There is no "tie" for best backfield, it belongs to Miami.
