ESPN has you guys listed with a 70.8 rating. New England had a 56.2 rating.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/stati...def&league=afc&season=2&year=2003

NFL.com has listed the following statistics.

http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-PASSING/2003

Attempts: 529
Completions: 319
Yards: 3335
TD's: 12
INT's: 22

Plug theese numbers into a QB Calculator http://www.footballguys.com/qbrating.htm

and you get a 68.8 QB Rating.

Sorry but ESPN is wrong, nothing new for them though.

ohhhhh, and silence from the other teams fans!

Speak not unless you are sure of your sources for looking like a fool is your reward for ignorance.

Surely the Patriots don't think they have a better secondary. That's down right laughable

ummmm, well, they had a better year last year... IIRC they had a QB Rating of only 54.9 or something in that neighborhood.

I believe they were ranked #1 in the league in opposing QB Rating, but I'm not positive about that.

I figured I might as well point it out before they get a chance.

True, but I was referring to our players in the secondary. It's not the secondary's fault that our LBs(Zach & Junior) can't cover worth a crap.

Well, I agree about Juniors coverage (it was pretty sad to see), but Zach is one of the better coverage LB's in the league. our OLB's really were the weakness.

But your point is taken though.

Hey thanks for the pic. He looks kinda smallish to me dont you think? The word is that he is not that fast but fundamentally sound. They say he can play bump coverage but again he looks kind of small.

I guess he will need a number change though.;)

You really should be kicked out of the Forum for saying that...:yell:

Why, because it is a true statement?

Man for man, the Pats secondary is head and heels above what the Phins secondary is.

PS- Nice deep coverage on Troy Brown in the 1st game last year.

Surtain can't carry Law's jock.

If your secondary is so good, why do they always seem to give up the huge play in crucial situations?

Not to mention all the holding and pass interference penalties in crucial situations as well.
