Best/Worst Uniforms

i've always loved the saints uni's for some reason. Black and Gold is a cool color scheme and the logo is cool as well. The chiefs is cool as well- the red on the helmet gets me fired up. colts have the most imaginative logo and thus the best helmet. i've always liked the panthers uni's too for some reason. Raiders uni is good because of the black and white. The entire NFC north has crappy uniforms. Sometimes i can't watch games where the lions or bears are playing just because they're uni's are so boring (and so is their playing style). The pack is still easy to watch cos of favre and i've always enjoyed watching minny cos of moss, but this year their offense is going to be less exciting so:confused:
 
anyone else wonder why the hell the colts change their face mask color from blue to light grey ??????? I really dont understand it cuz it makes their whole uni's look ugly without a blue face mask. White woulda been fine... but grey ????

That would be just like us changing ours to grey.
 
I don't like the Fins orange jerseys, they remind me of a bunch of Bob's barricades flying around but I do like the dark teals tho'. Worst unis?- 49ers Best-Jaguars
 
The think the Dolphins uniforms rank in the bottom five in the league. I can't stand them. The orange uniforms were a BIG improvement. Then again, I'm a Hurricanes fan so maybe that's why I liked them.

Teal is ugly though

Best
1. Miami (color scheme and Dolphin on the helmet is great)
2. Jacksonville (I really like the Jaguar on the helmet, color scheme)
3. Tampa Bay (the old ones were terrible, the new ones look great)
4. New England (big improvement over old unis)
5. San Diego (gives off the appearance of speed, like their classic unis)
6. Dallas (simple, but classic)
7. Minnesota (another "speedy" looking uni)
8. San Francisco (could do more with the helmet, like home color scheme)
9. Indianapolis (a little plain, but overall ok)
10. Oakland (could use an upgrade, but probably most imposing uni)

Worst
1. Cleveland (Unimaginative, plain helmet is terrible)
2. Green Bay (Horrible color scheme, simply ugly)
3. Chicago (so much more could be done w/a Bear -- see Jags helmet)
4. Buffalo (color scheme is good, red Buffalo makes me wonder, plus name is bad. It's an animal that is eaten rather than a predator)
5. Tennessee (just can't get used to them)
6. New York Jets (classic ones are better, but still don't like them)
7. Pittsburgh (why not put a logo on both sides of the helmet, stripes on pants are too thick)
8. New York Giants (dislike the road unis, plus not a fan of the helmet)
9. Washington (color scheme is good, could update helmet)
10. Detroit (I like the color scheme, helmet doesn't work for me)

Basically every team uniforms you didn't like, I do, except I'm not a fan of the Bills uniforms. They look like children's pajamas since they redesigned them. Jacksonville's are ugly to me, the Bengal's uniforms went from bad to worse just recently, Minnesota's are purple and plain, The Falcons had something good and then they ruined it, and the Seahawks unis are ugly. Those are the only 5 I don't like.

Yes, even the Brown's classic threads are cool with me.

All facemasks used to be gray. Besides, the blue facemask draws your eye away from the helmet and just sticks out. I wish we changed our facemasks back to gray. It looked fine this day:

Best: Jacksonville, Chicago, Green Bay, Raiders, Steelers, Dolphins (love the aqua, but I don't like the helmet on the dolphin), Dallas

Worst: Jets, Colts (looks like they got kicked in the head), Cleveland, Giants, Washington
 
i like our throw backs and our orange jerseys.. by the way are we gonna wear the orange ones at all?
 
Well I have definite views on what a god uniform and a bad uniform is. I love yellow and I dislike grey and silver a lot, and I don't like navy. Also except for the 49ers, Vikings, and Eagles, every team had a better looking uniform at some time in the previous 30 years.

I "tend" to like the uniforms with the team's mascot on the helmet and I "tend" to dislike uniforms with the initial of the city or state. I think that's okay for baseball, but not creative enough for football. On another note, as historical interesting as New York (a great place for broadway, creativity etc) is can't the city do any better than Mets, Nets and Jets? You might as well buy a hat with a replaceable first letter. It's horrible.
 
This might be heresy -- or it might be because I'm a Kentucky fan -- but I like the Colts' unis. The blue & white is understated and classy.

Oddly, I liked the Dolphins unis more before about 1990, when teal (yes, I know ours is aqua, but it's close) became trendy.
